Caligreen gets back to Roots

Title basically means that I said fuck it to cloning old genetics, and am going for an all new strain seed run! The fun is, in a way, coming back to me!!! I remember when I used to grow new strains all the time, most were cuts but the fun was in the new genetics! As I stand over my ladies today I am filled with excitement and optimism that this crop will be one of the best I've had in the past couple years. Already I can tell how strong the new genetics are compared to my old 3-4 year old cuttings/moms I work with, the plants are super sturdy and growing fast and healthy. 12/12 began on 8-5, Friday night and the pictures are from then. One more thing to add, I am only using 7 plants(one still could be male so possibly 6) instead of my normal 11-12, because of medical limits and also I wanted to have more room for the plants to breathe and get light. Last run I had literally no room for the plants to move, and on a couple I only got a half ounce or less, in 2 gal coco buckets I am obviously less than satisfied. Gram per watt, not even close lol. Lets see what happens this run


Strains-
2 Guerrilla Gold crosses, 4 phenos:

Green Ice X GG-Pheno A and Pheno B

Arcata Trainwreck X GG-pheno A and Pheno B

The GG crosses were done by ME! The pollen came from an IC member I think, well it was a friend at the least and I thank you as always! Some of the seeds went to seedbay long ago and have been purchased, where they are now is anybodies guess! But we will finally see what these bitches can do! Although I have sprouted and flowered 2 phenotypes of GI X GG and they were awesome, the new phenos should also be dank.

And From Mitochondrion, a fellow ICer, we have 3 different phenotypes of Jack the Ripper X Vanilla Luna(very small chance of variegation!) One had been started before the others and I had taken 2 clones of of her, I put the mother in my Green House and shes already flowering nicely. So the only clone I have, came direct from a mother seed, and she is strong!

Only one that is kind of unconfirmed, I thought all were female for sure but now that I look I can't find any hairs on this one, no balls either, nothing yet...

So its been a week and a few days, one TWxGG turned out to be male so he is outside so I can gather pollen! The ladies have stretched and I hope they are done! Mostly even in stretch, and the canopy is surprisingly even for having 6 different strains!

*I have 1 JTR in a 3 gallon bag pot and it is short, I am unsure if this is the strain itself or since the girl had a larger pot to spread out in possibly it didn't stretch as badly.....I may use more 3 gallon bags next run to test this theory....*

Everything is super healthy, and I'm watering about once a day give or take a couple days where I waited to water. My only concern is with one of the Green Ice crosses, on one of the tops a leaf is beginning to show signs of possible cal mag deficiency or maybe even its over fed??? Let me know what you think it is please!

stevefrench-I saw your pictures and she really resembles TW! You can see the GG influence a bit I believe in the hair color and probably smoke, great job!

LuvPB-Right on man, only way to learn is to chime and ask questions like you are. I have seriously raised my 600HPS light as high as it can go, my plants range from 3ft(tallest) to 2ft(shortest) and shouldn't stretch anymore.....(lets hope) Using a 4x2 grow hut(actually almost 5x3) and House and Garden base nutrients with some additives from Botanicare. Pure coco.

Grow Tech-I don't know if I'm a huge fan of the GG to be honest, I think it makes strains stretch more after they get GG in them. I also have some GGxSD pollen I believe you gave me!!! Still!!! Then I have just recently collected some TWxGG pollen from a male I had outdoors, the pollen was flying everywhere when I tried to get some, so I hope the neighbors all grow indoors lol.


Alright here are the ladies on day 18 of flower, they hit three weeks on friday. Pics taken tuesday....Last update everything was stretching surprisingly even, well, I spoke too soon and bitches be stretchin.....The A and B phenos of Ripaluna have stretched crazy, the TWxGG stretched just about the same. I moved my light as far as I can up, and it looks like I will be ok, I could take the table out of the tent and cut it a bit shorter, but I'd rather not. So far the GIxGG phenos are the frostiest, but next week everything should be caked. Plants are healthy for sure, and I'm stoked! The leaf issue with one of the GI's seemed to fix itself, or I fixed it with proper watering and food, who knows! I have seen what I believe are root aphids, although they look different to me and I think they might actually be some other bug I've never seen. I live in a studio basically and am surrounded by a forest, I'm honestly surprised I don't have more bugs On to some pics!

Looking good. That one leaf looks a wee bit off eh, never been one to get too excited about that unless the whole thing looks screwed and that sure aint the case here man. The buds are coming along great at 18 days flowereing. You must be a happy dude, can't wait to see more pics as the buds get bigger and bigger yee haw. Have fun man. By the way in that picture 2nd from last. Did you screw up and get some kind of powder stuck on the bottom of those upper leaves? ha ha ha 18 days! These will be good!!!
