spiralofeyes - thank you for the good vibes, yeah bro get your self a day brightner, that unoffical smoke report was done when the bud was maybe 3 or so days from trimming it so the high was not fully muture. Can't wait till after the cure!

I really didn't think much of this strain when it was growing it totally caught me by surprise, the smell on this lady is outstanding! Fruit&berry lovers will like this strain if your into that kind of smell and taste, this is the breeders version of purple wreck if my pheno happens to hit hard like the TW then I'm in for a treat, but this pheno seems more space queen querkl dom so will just have to see!​

I know i could search but thought it'd b good to know from this thread, how much would these control boards cost? both models.. im getting 1 when my nxt crops down & using 2 x 1000w & 2 x 9x9 rooms on 12/12 i haven't even tested it yet but i know for fact it'll double what im getting now, using basically the same energy.

Sorry I was gone for so long but as you seen from earlier pictures I had a lot of plants to trim, process, and a whole lot of cleaning and preparation for the next grow. Ok enough rambling on with the show.​

First the double 9 x 9 flip rooms
Stats: 9x9 space (more like close to 10 x 10 just shy of a few inches.), 2 1000W ballasts (running 24/7), Horticontrol LF-4 & LF-2, 4 Philips retro white CMH’s, 48 7 gallon pots, Ocean Forest soil with super soil at the bottom for the “just water method” lights were checker boarding and CmH’s were added at the last few weeks.​

Final dry weight​

7 1/2lbs. total for both rooms.​

Not bad giving the fact that I only used 2 ballasts to power the whole 8 thousand grow! My PG&E bill was noticeably lower…. I could’ve done 10lbs. with a higher yielding strain and if I went hydro with all the nutrients and additives I could have easily went 5lbs. in each room! As for the quality and looks of the final product, you be the judge and tell me if checker board light schemes work or not?​

Checkerboard lighting is when you use 2 ballasts to power 8 1000W fixtures by shifting the power from bulb to bulb every 2 hours.


Example: 8 lights 4 in each room, in the first room 2 bulbs come on for 2 hours then shut off, and the next 2 come on for 2 hours and then shut off after 2 hours. this pattern continues for the whole 12/12 then flips that same pattern to the next room for another 12/12 it's like having a light mover without the mover it "checkerboards" the lights it keeps the 2 1000W ballasts on 24/7 powering the whole grow it beats having 8 ballasts running like you would normaly see for a 8 light set up.

Damn drymouth! I just re-read the whole thread (filtered your posts) and I gotta say you killed it for real, was a good read and I was goovin to the SOS band, and nipsy while trawling through Gotta say you grow the fire and take some nice pics too mang!!

Your results seem to be spectacular as essentially you've used 4000w and yielded 4285g/4.285kg which is over a gram per watt. Heath Robinson did a grow like this using overhead lighting and got 900g using 600w (2x600's flipping). Think he also done a single tree with 1200w (600w on/off every 2hrs) and got a fat ass yield off that.

well folks looks like i'm back, "uh shit load of weed and some hard work, and I'm finaly back on the board for another grow!" I'm currently running 2 vertical stadiums 60 plants in each room resurculating drip system, gh micro,bloom 6/9 formula. I got some pic's and details commin up soon.
