If you could have any pre-1990 car, what would it be?

I'd probably have this bad boy...

My personal choice would be a 1951 MERCURY 2 DR SEDAN.. Or another 1948 Ford f-1 flat head 6 229 cuin with a 51 ford rear end, that old truck got me a ticket 75 in a 55 the first year the 55 speed limit was law. Had that truck in college in the yearly 70's. No that a xmas ornament I have on my desk.

I had one of these back in the 70s, can't be touched now for 60-70K.
Same color and rag top w/a 318 V8, it was sweet

but Im sitting on a 50 f1 with the V8 flattie just waiting for the time and $$.

Its likely gonna get a built 351, 9" rear, lowered, chopped etc..

I like this one, although its not chopped..

lately I've had a hankering for a chrome bumper Vette like this one.

'69 Charger's are another favorite of mine,
those are some clean muscle car lines.......

I'll never have the money for one, ever, but I would have one of these bad arsed aussie muscle cars in a heart-beat, pity the 1971-72 Falcon GTHO Phase 3 now goes for over $750 000aud, for an original 1 of 300 ever made :yoinks:

I will actually be starting a build on one of these in the near future.

Light tint, Dayton wire, Flowmasters, and a hell of a Stereo. Alonso Edition!

Maybe I'm old but to me a car has to be at least pre 1980 for me to really consider it old school.....

Those 69-72 vettes with the chrome bumpers are real nice.
Too many beautiful cars made back in the 60's-70's...

Lately I've really been feeling the raw muscle look of old Nova's with an aggressive stance on them....I just see it as a car people shoved big blocks with huge intakes in.... Got a plain nasty 70's look...

My pops 1971 Datusn 510. Was one of the top 510s around. Turned heads everywhere we drove it. A lot of work into that thing. I will never forgive him for selling it.
