No, Mr Nice. atleast around my area, has always been known to trigger early and whenever she gets the opportunity, last week two days of morning fog I believe was that opportunity where she figured it was time. The Blue Dream just triggered early as well with the fog I believe.

NYCD buds, looking forward to some early September finishers!

3.5 months ago this PBD on the right was a branch on the first node of that gal in the 100, a mother and clone...

Purple Berry Diesel clone

didn't get to mulching as early as I had hoped but it's just in time for the heat wave moving in this week! the straw on the ground is to prevent dust and dirt from being kicked up. happy growing

Mid Season, spending lots of time inside these ladies pruning and cleaning them up, trying to get as much airflow and as little popcorn as possible at harvest. they are taking so much water and tea it's crazy. Some ladies have flipped completely and are well into their first week of flower, those strains are the 707 Headband's , Chem sister's, Mr. Nice's, Double Purple Doja's and all kush's and OG's. 2/3 of the garden has begun stretch. The largest ladies in the garden have yet to show any signs of flower and are going hard.

companion planting ; Spearmint and Cannabis

Blue Rhino x Citrus Skunk tops towering over the garden and California landscape

the only 707 Headband still vegging

Sour Diesel in the middle

Purple Berry Diesel, Sour Diesel and another Purple Berry Diesel

smart pot vs geo pot, Purple Berry Diesels. now early on I had predicted that the geo was going to end up on top, as you can see the smart pot is looking just as lush, it's up in the air as of right now. we will find out the winner at the trimming table.

Dude you are rocking it!!! Fucking love the comparison shots, especially from last year....Those Those smart pots really do wonders eh?? You probably started earlier this year too though right? Amazing to see the results for sure. What are the watering differences like?? I imagine your using a lot more this go. I see 5gal water jugs, were your filtering your water at all last year VS. this year? I see your mixing tea and noticed a hose laying around, are you perhaps just letting tap water sit around a couple days then mixing? Looks great, I want to know your secrets!!! Peace

EDIT-Ok I looked over the entire thread and I see you mixing your own teas, sick! I also see how much work you put into mixing all that dirt, and how much dirt you got in general, holy shit! Are you PHing the tea at all? Are you using tap water? You mentioned you feed with tea twice a week in veg, how bout in flower? And what do you water with when you don't feed them with tea...? How much light are they receiving during the day? Sorry if it's too many questions, I just hope to do this one day soon. This year I kind of got into it, but next year it would nice to go bigger. Also I have poor light, it seems you've got tons. Great job, definitely know what your doing, keep it up!

If you look closely at my shot from last year my biggest pot was a 20 gal smart pot :D they obviously were my highest yielding and after seeing what so many of the fellas up North were doing with these I had to go bigger, planning on doing so next season. One of the biggest benefits of big pots so far is how I was able to lower my plant count so much, I have about half the count of what I was growing last season, and will be much more bountiful come fall. I hand water my compost teas with those 5 gal jugs still, last season of doing that though! I water everyday with my hose + wand attachment hooked up to my tall boy filter. I do not pH my water, I do pH my foliar sprays! I'm also brewing teas in two small 55 gallon reservoirs, I wish I had put the extra money down and went bigger, next season!

I recycle all my dirt from each season, didn't waste 1 gallon of last season's it all got sifted and re-amended in early spring then mixed up with everything in that photo you saw. I already invested in a much larger sifter for this winter. Now that we're well underway into bloom here on the Central Coast I am only watering with teas once a week, but I have stepped up how strong my teas are, they are mostly consisting of fish meal, peruvian seabird guano, indonesian bat guano, worm castings, arctic humus and molasses.
Weather permitting (this coastline gets heavy morning fog throughout summer) the girls get direct sun light from 8-7. There are a few tall trees blocking light in the early morning and late evening I look to cut back this winter. I don't mind all the questions at all I did the same thing and some very kind people on this site passed on their knowledge and I couldn't thank them enough. :tiphat:

McDank of all the ferts I've tried nothing beats brewing those teas. I love the way the herb isn't harsh and the more you smoke the higher you get. Brewing tea is the only way for me. I also like reusing soil. The plants seem like they dont need fed as much. Big :respect: to you and your garden. Good luck heading towards the finish line. Stay toking my friend........ :joint: :bongsmi: :rasta: :kos:
