Yep...it's a real job. These girls set the hours though, but they don't talk much at all.

I move two rows of plants and that gives me access to water all of them....honestly I wish I had a room 3 times as big. Thanks guys..it's a labor of love 4 sure.

you need a machine like they have at dry cleaning places, with everything automated on rails.

#552? oh, sorry, not ready yet. come back 2 weeks.

I have dreamed about such things...had an idea to water from above on some sort of Mission Impossible rigging with a watering wand that hangs from the cieling....lol

Trays and bottom feed? I guess that would raise the rh too high plus yeah gotta keep that top moist...

You got a hose in there or watering cans? Could you run 3/4" tubing and drippers?

What you doing works thats for sure :good:

I've tried multiple systems for automated watering and all were inconsistent..blumats would cost me a couple grand @ least..and there would be lines all over the place. Best to just do it the real way...move the body,sweat,lift,stretch,exercise....

Would be nice to have a professional sprinkler system guy design one that works. Those guys know all the right pressures and diameters for length and could put something together that gives the exact amount of water to each plant from one line and one res. Could also install adjustable regulators for each pot to control plants that don't need as much as the others...

so capt, now that you use real soil in your mix. what are you having to do less of since the switch.

Well the greatest thing is a lot less wondering about the overall health of the plants.
The best functional thing is not having to mess around with ph'ing. The whole mess of stuff you have to have..the ph up,ph down, meter, calibrating fluids, storage fluid,batteries...and the hassle of dealing with every aspect of that trip.

The next thing I don't miss is having to correct the multiple problems associated with other types of soil mixes. A greater soil diversity has proved that it takes care of itself. Amend correctly, apply simple organic practices, incorporate ACT,FPE's,plant teas, etc.,and recycle the soil....simple.

This is easy.

The biggest pain in the ass in trimming...period.

Average crop trim time with 3 to 5 people roughly 24 hrs total. Secondary trim time around 12. Sharp scissors, music, chatty women...makes it all go much faster.

Your mojo so dope capt :D Those girls are looookin awesome

Do you at least have a pump/wand setup for watering?

I dunno for sure but it probably takes me 5 hours to trim one of the hard to trim plants including popcorn. I trim everything and make a decision what to keep when I'm less high lol

But, I really enjoy trimming, I watch shows on netflix. Just finished trimming up a girl and watched 4 seasons of Doc Martin...... christ I'm boring...... :D

Q: How do you get to Carnegie Hall?

A: Practice

:)

In all seriousness I couldn't tell you how much of it I see and how much I simply hear. 20% or less is visual probably. Can be a bit like an audio book.

With my job, when in the field I listen to my ipod. Back in my office I have to write extremely long narrative reports and some pretty robust math, so for 14 years I've listened to tv and movies while I work.

Yepper's..pump,wand,and food grade hose. Takes about an hour to water them all every 4 or 5 days depending on outside temps.

I would just like to have enough plants to trim to have some chatty women around again. I try and get comfortable to trim. I like running the Star Wars movies while I trim. Lord Of the Rings works also. Something I have seen many times and my one brain cell tunes in on.

Trimming sucks but I do love the hash to smoke when it is all done.
