Thinking about moving out west - Cali? Oregon? Washington?

For now, I get 900 a month from social security. I'm kind of disabled and being lazy on finding a career type of job.

You are "kind of disabled" and get social security? WTF does "kind of disabled" mean? I know of people that literally can't work and aren't eligible for social security. How does this add up? I'm confused...

You sound familiar.... I would stay away from SoCal, as I am here and you do not want any of that! Well, besides me there are cost of living and congestion probs here.

I have family in Crescent City and think it is quite nice compared to here. You will have to deal with the wetness of the weather , some like it. If you are that 'yummybud' sort of guy I remember, thanks for the laughs. I would just miss Cali and go to Oregon or other. Legal pot and family are all that keep me here.

Maybe Portland, Maine? You mention low cost of living......then start talking about California. You might do yourself a favor and research the utilities costs before heading out there.
