I've spent a fair amount of time in the urologist office lately, and will call your post BS. It's definitely a use it or lose deal. And the more you use it, the less chance for bad stuff to grow, kind of like flushing your plants, although I much prefer the real deal over porn.....scrappy

Porn is better than nothing, the real deal is the light and the truth.

So you got a "lump" where they can't sample without doing damage... That does suck. I agree with the docs if sampling does more damage it is probably best just to watch it. Does it hurt?

Me...I am in the low 40s and am on the "L" already. (Lisinoprill/Lipitor)

My getting old story today:
Today I finally decided to ask my PCP for a referral to a "assman" due to a hemorrhoid that I have been living with for several years. ( I have named it and everything!) :moon: Everyone.. meet "Ken"!
So..While on hold with the "assman" office to setup the appointment, which I am seriously dreading, the standby music was playing
Kenny Loggins- "Danger Zone".:hide:
You know.... I already didn't care for Kenny Loggins as it was!

Anyone is more then welcome to join the Chronic pain social group. There we talk about stuff that is privet. a lot feel more comfortable not announcing there issues to the world. Discussions about our meds, doctors and anything in between are kept confidential. Many in the group are very sick so it can get slow in there as many dont have the strength to post much.

"You know that that you're over the hill when your mind makes a promise that your body can't fill"

48, 2 titanium plates and a few screws in my neck, nerve damage, bone spurs, arthritis in my neck, back and hips.

I'm paying the price for thinking I was bullet proof and teflon coated when I was younger.

But I still pull a 12 hour shift and the young 'uns huff and puff trying to keep up

I never get where these people like Oprah who say life "begins at 40" get that. TOTALLY not true, for the vast majority of people. I guess if you were a millionaire bitch, cocksucker (literally), that might be true. I think she's a huge, money hungry, racist bitch. Not at all what everybody seems to think. IMHO anyway.

Try "Billionaire" bitch to be more accurate.

"Fly into the Danger Zone...
Right into the Danger Zone."

Okay,
Now THAT'S funny!

Followed by "I'm Looking Through You" by the Beatles.

I wonder if there's any money in compiling a Proctologists Muzak Playlist?

Wifey got mad when taking her on the way to the assman for a pressure test I was singing
"Up, up and away in my beautiful balloon."

No sense of humor.

For all you old farts, I have several suggestions for better health and a longer lifer:

1. Don't sit on your ass all the time. You should never sit for more that 30 minutes at a time. Get up and walk around or exercise.

2. Stop smoking cigarettes.

3. Exercise.

4. Don't pickle your brain with alcohol.

5. Don't sit and worry about your problems, get up and do something about them.

6. Get regular health checkups and read up on any health issues you may have.

7. Be smart and stay busy and active mentally and physically.

8. Always keep a positive mental attitude.

I will revisit this post with some more detailed information. I've learned a lot over the years and I suppose I should share some of the less known secrets of healthy living.

Take care all.
