I must have been really ripped the last time I posted on this thread. I just now saw where I had "forgotten" to post some pics of the trusty "guard dogs". Actually Great Danes are very docile the aggressivness was bred out of the in the late 1800"s which considering their size is a good thing. Danes are a giant breed and the largest breed. Wolfhounds can be taller and English mastiffs can be heavier but a large Male like my daughter has is 38" at the shoulder and weighs 180lbs at two years old. They don't have to be mean to intimidate. I can guarantee no one will come in the yard when the dogs are out. The poodle is 28" at the shoulder and weighs 80 lbs.

I've got 2 pits. I have a Gottiline male, and a Colby female. They're both trained and well behaved. They're really entertaining to watch!!!

Chickens they will let you know if anyone is near. Mr Mossberg takes it from there. I used to use hogs but they tasted to damn good.

Two mongrels - an 8-year old Siberian Husky/Finnish Lapphund mix, and a 6-year old Norwegian Grey Elkhound/Finnish Lapphund mix. Both male.

An insane Jack Russel, most vicious beast known to man, actually he's pretty calm now he's 13, but he used to be terrible. Very intelligent little dog, but can be bad tempered.
