OMG! About 10 years ago I was listening when this woman called in about how all of her relationships suck, blah, blah blah. Dr. Drew was like, "What did your father do to you?"
The woman says, "Nothing. My dad was a great guy. Always very supportive."
Dr. Drew: "C'mon. Tell the truth."
Woman: "I am telling the truth. I had a great childhood."
Dr. Drew: "If you're not going to open up and be honest, I can't help you."
Then the dick hangs up on her! LOL!

You have to take into account the show is called 'loveline' and they have idiots calling them, sometimes they have to weed thru the BS callers.

It was Dr. Drew. Adam only added comic relief and IIRC, gave Dr. Drew crap for it. And the calls get pre-screened before they end up on-air. But thanks, though.

if i had a head case or an addiction id turn to that dude first.....mainly cuz i listenened to lovelines for years every night, and was a caller on air before talking about moving to backwoods alaska, and fronting about my question topic by saying i wanted to slit my tongue like a snake lol....

dr drew isnt a "media-whore"...he's an awesome doc...with a ton of brains that the media tries to exploit.

...its not what he knows even ...its how he deals w/ ppl and his delivery....makes ppl think...i commend him a ton!!!

I don't mind dr. drew and don't even compare him to the dr. phils or 'the doctors' BS.

I still associate him with lovelines and the whole 90's era.. late at night.. A bit tipsy, and feeling about 4 times better about myself hearing all those wakky kids and Dr. Drew being all serious about it and Adam corolla farting.
