Paranoia is defined as an unreasonable fear.

Many of our officials seem to be suffering from this condition.

So, to help lighten the issue, think Jeff Foxworthy:

If you think the movie Refer Madness was a documentary, you might be paranoid.

If you think a terminal cancer patient is going to hand their medicine to a high school kid, you might be paranoid.

If you think a faint whiff of cannabis smoke will instantly turn your seven year old into a heroin addict .. you might be a paranoid zealot.

Nail on the fucking head. People in power are there because they have that personality to be there a real person get ATE up in politics because its the absolute dirtiest game around. THey make sure your dirty so they have shit on you to turn you in on or to make good on there campaign donations. thats why the world sucks.

The people running the game are not paranoid. Every action our leaders take is calculated to bring themselves and their corporate supporters additional wealth and power. Paranoia is just another weapon in their arsenal, engineered to divert attention from real issues. Marijuana is illegal because pharmaceuticals have a vested interest in eliminating competition to their overpriced, marginally effective, often dangerous drugs. Rest assured, once they've figured out how to capture up the market, we will see regulation and mass distribution of cannabis-based medicines by corporate Pharma, and Mom and Pop dispensaries will become a thing of the past. Federally it is no longer a matter of if or when to legalize but how to ensure that the profits aren't captured by the non-elite.

i know some cops. it is funny as hell to listen to them (at least when they are all together) talk shit about stoners. it is even funnier that 1 on 1 some of them will stop talking shit and actually ask me (the stupid stoner) about the high and other things or actually admit they they think it should be legal. it is absolutely hilarious to see them pound down booze like nobody else can and then get in their cars and drive home...... dangerous drugs huh? .... sleep good donut boy

i once knew a guy that was in congress for awhile, 3 years, then he got fed up with it.

said it was the filthiest spot he´d ever known and impossible to affect any change without getting really sleazy yourself.

and this is in very small country thats incidentally usually in the top spots of "highest living standards" in the world.

in other words, it was a dog eat dog world. everyone only concerned about themselves, no true friends anywhere, everyone focused on top power themselves or keeping comfortable.

imagine that,

the guy at your back or side, cheering you on today and being your closest supporter, might actually metaphorically slit your throat and throw you to the wolves, tomorrow.

and thats your closest ally

besides the fact you have no personal life, everything has to fit carefully in to that image you need to present to the public, but like anyone else you have your vices, which probably have mutated under all that pressure (and with the power) to vices, youd probably really not want the public to know.

so paranoia about everyone you work with (power is adictive, losing it would make being in the middle of the most fantastic cokebender ever and then suddenly told there was no more coke in the world, well losing power would make that seem like a walk in the park in comparison.)

paranoia about your vices.

paranoia about your family (they also need to fill in that role)

...and so on, getting tired of the subject.

frankly i cant see how power could ever make up for the loss of life and love, but hey, lol each to his own .
