K.I.S.S. fed MOFO mother, about to be flipped and fed the same...I do use a cal/mg supplement<as needed> (7.5ml/gal.)




I basically run in promix/perlite/lime...if there's an easier way, PM me please.

Hmmmm, well I stand corrected.

My teaspoon measures out at 5.2 grams....but that looks to be my problem, and some quick double-checking leads me to believe it may be a combination of my scale, and my teaspoon.

I'll scrub my other posts so as to not cause the kind of confusion I was supposedly combating.

I've revegged, cloned, vegged, and flowered using ONLY mb and ph! TRULY amazing stuff. The real test is soon to come though, when I burn some bud. I have 2 chiesel, 2 GFxBB, and a BS2.2 all flushing here. The younger ones are chiesels.

Hey guys couple questions for whoever can answer, if I'm gonna use this for soil, just add maxibloom,ph to 6.3 and its good to go? Also can bloombastic be used with it during flower? Sorry if these questions are answered elsewhere in this thread and thanks in advance

Hey everyone, Well i culled another plant last week using kiss, and tossed liq koolbloom in there a few times.

I yielded 39 grams from a 2 foot plant under a 400W mh/hps Using Maxibloom and koolbloom "3 times" mixed with PH'ed tap water that stood at 260 ppm "just checked again"

And it was great, I did not have time to flush like i wanted too on one of the c99 and you can tell.... Well i can, Everyone else just thinks its "strong smoke" I can tell..
But yeah i flushed 2 1/2 weeks with them chem x mat and wow.... CLEAN AND TASTY SMOKE!!! after a good flush the smoke is sooooo clean and burns to a very clean white ash.

What's with the 7 gram = 1 tsp thing? I threw the tsp away and use a scale. What is the EC at 7 grams a gallon? Haven't checked, but im sure its up there.

I have been running a 1/2 tsp Pro-tekt and 3-4 grams MB per gallon and my EC is 1.0-1.2 every feeding with good results.

Anyone else feed everytime, and how many grams MB do you use?

Also, do you find maxibloom to raise or lower your ph? Reason I ask is I have well water at a ph of 5.5...some nutes raise it, some lower.

Sounds like you might want to invest in the larger container of maxibloom.

I have found that maxibloom brings my ph waaaay down....

Maxi Bloom kicks ass!!! I've been using it for the last 14 months and I couldn't be happier, any problems I had when I was running Flora series have completely disappeared. The stuff is a bit of a pain to mix up but that is nothing compared to the simplicity and results it gives. Check out Greentrees Hydroponics for the best price I've found on it, they ship discrete as well.

That bag is a 1000 grams. Divided by 7 grams per gallon and that is 142 gallons.

Definitely lowers your pH. If I use it with my 0.3 EC tap water, I don't need pH down.

Pics don't do this weed justice at all.. but it couldn't be easier keeping it simple with MB! And the next batch is looking much frostier in it's 4th week already, with the addition of KoolBloom!

Awesome thread and awesome feedback guys! I've read around 1/4 of this thread so far, but don't got the time atm to read it althrough.

What I've gathered though, is that one can grow more than decent bud with a combination of Maxibloom, Koolbloom & in some cases Cal/mag.

Now I'm convinced to try this, and discard Advanced Nutrition completely, but one thing I have not really read about yet, is mycorizza & Bacillus in addition to MB & KB?

So far I've been very satisfied with AN's powder Piranha & Tarantula, and I honestly see a big difference in root production.

What I'm getting at is, how many in here add microorganisms, and do you find it necessary/beneficial at all?

If so, what are some cheaper alternatives than AN's overpriced products? I'm growing in coco btw.

I will definitely make a side by side test this fall when I've purchased MB & KB, I will post pictures in my grow journal and here of course!

On my bag of Maxi Bloom it says 1tsp=5g you guys seem to think 1tsp=7g maxi bloom? Whats the deal with this?

Hi, I just wanted to ask if I should change the dosing of Maxibloom or use something like Cal Mag for my future grow, since my tap water is at 0.208 EC which translates to somewhere around ~145 ppm? I haven't found any Cal Mag supplement's in my country so it would be good to know if I need any, so I could order it at the same time as Maxibloom (Nowhere to be found in my country also).

I'm also planning on using NFT/"Aero" style system, so if anyone has had problems with these kinds of systems, like misters/sprayers clogging or anything like that, please let me know.
