I thought that was BTK? Oh wait, that was a serial killer's name....

Nice outdoor plot, MDK. See youve amended the holes and even put up stakes already. Is this organic or refined nutes? They seem kind of close to each other are they going to get real big?

Nice trich coverage, Lemon. Is the DSD Double Strawberry Diesel?

How are your defoliated girls looking, Farmdale?

lol that spot is larger than it looks.... most those holes about 30 gal or larger... and the holes not that close together.... unless u talking about the holes that have multiple plants... those ones are smaller plants that didnt have luxury of being prevegged as much so more numbers to make up for it...

holes are sunshine mix #1, ewc, lime, some organic based dry ferts and some native soil mixed back in too...

Right on, sometimes its hard to tell scale from pics. If those are 30ga holes it must have been a bit of work dragging all those bales of mix there, well done.
What sort of organic dry ferts? Standard blood and bone meal, or something more exotic, like guanos?

yea, shit sucked major ass....

let me assure you...

$1500 in supplies hauled back there just for purpose of amending natural soil a bit... hope it pans out :)

earthworm poo is in the soil mix... i use fox farm american pride dry ferts at bottom of hole at xplant... come back month later and top feed some american pride, watering it in with some silicates, micros, and some cal-mag....

after bud set, i top dress high P guano and water it in with meta K...

That's why i dont do outdoors. Lugging x number of bales through y meters of underbrush = one dirty, tired, pissed off Baba. Although I can imagine a cold beer at the end of a day like that never tasted so good.
Fox farm dry ferts are good stuff. Looks like your nute regimen is solidly organic; strong sunlight and organic soil must make for topnotch outdoor buds. Keep us up to date if you can, i love seeing those outdoor trees...

Very nice MDK,i wish my outdoor looked so good.

And booey yea its a pheno i found this run thats very lemony with some sour notes on the end. Some of the best smelling and tasting herb ive had,but very low yielding atleast this round.
The f13 x chem4 was the over all winner with a very light berry/grape smell, and with alittle lime or lemon on the end.The punch from a good bong rip or two you can feel in your face/head.
And this run i had to harvest early because of mites,so they all had a couple more weeks to go.With dsd still having some clear heads, but the others mostly cloudy with a few amber here and thier.

that grapefruit diesel is looking great booey, thanks for asking. heres a few pics of her now. shes almost 3 wks flower under a 600. i let her "recuperate" for a little more than a week then switched to 12/12. the last 4 shots are of the same strain @ wk 6 going into wk 7, just lst'd different, flowered a little shorter. she has such an intense sour grapefruit stink to her.

Im been battling the borg myself this year; after not having any mites for the first 3-4 years of growing, I got some from some gifted clones and its been a pain in my arse. Ive got them under control but those effers are hard to eradicate completely.. oh well.

Looks like the grapefruit diesel recovered nicely, Farmdale. Opening up the bud structure really exposed all of the branches to light. Trich coverage looks spot on too.

yea, i believe it really did her some good. you can see from the other plant how she may have looked had i not defoliated. im really trying to get into the mode of never leaving any pop-corny buds that may take any energy away from the bigger buds. i had high hopes for this strain from the second i laid eyes on it.

I know what you mean booey about the mites, since ive moved ive had mites pop up in 2 of my grows and have never had them since i started growing about 5/6 yrs now.I had to harvest my last run about 2 weeks early to spray neem just so they didnt get real bad and effect the others in the tent that were starting flower.
Looking good DJ,she looks like she is going to be tasty.

Farmdale, your stash looks excellent. I've never had true NL before, although i imagine its in most of the hybrids out there in one form or another... Is that the NL#5?

DJ, the SDIBL looks frosty and well-flushed. Is this your first time running it? Smoke report please...

Lemon, for an early harvest, the buds look well covered in trichs. Maybe cost you a little bit in yield but colas look impressive nonetheless. Hate the webbing myself, nothing ruins the look of a plant more than visible signs of pests...

Smoke1, I was seriously thinking of getting some Sour Bubble a while back. You always hear good things about BOG genetics, and for $60 a pack the price is right. Do you change your lineup a lot?

Yeah alot, right now im weeding through Choc rain, Billygoats OE, and killing fields f2 and KF7 X nycd. I grow for fun just use a small 400 watt setup that I change to often also.

Were did you see Sour bubble for 60 bucks?

Nice stuff everybody, three thumbs up, midwest rules.... ill have some pics in a few days, gotta make some bubble tomorrow.

I'm surprised you kept them away for so long, good job. There an outdoor staple where I'm at, I've had them for 20+ years now, even tried large amounts of predator mites twice, but the bad mite always won that battle, now I just spray twice a week, sucks to hate the bastards.

I also got stem rot from the shipped predator mites them selves so be cautious about getting them near your cuts or seedlings, there the ones that were killed off, the adult plants in flower didn't suffer any rot, just the small ones.

Smoke1, my bad, I just looked and saw SourBub was $95 a pack on the bay. Dont know what made me think they were $60 a pack. It's been almost a year since I looked at them though...

Maximo, yeah it was kind of a blessing/surprise that I didnt have mites for so long. Had plenty of fungus gnats and even thrips a few times, which were easily gotten rid of by Spinosad spray (the thrips that is, the gnats are still hanging around, bastids). But now i know why growers call mites the borg. Resistance may not be futile, but they are almost impossible to eradicate.
Just gotta keep up with the sprays. I alternate between neem and Azamax.
