This is my first attempt at scrog. LST'd last time to deal with strech and liked how I got more yield from the lower branches. I think the screen is easier to work with and the results are looking good so far. today is 35 days 12/12

The cabinet is 2x3 and I've got 6 plants under a 400W HPS. Here's the view from below

Devil's Advocate
I really appreciate the folks that have posted here. Especially those that have done the day-by-day shots chronicling the progress. It really helps to get a good perception of what's going on.
Thanks again!

Hi everybody! These pics are from day 2 of flower. I actually only vegged them for 30 days, but I'm doing 4 plants under 2000 watts in #7 pots and FFOF with KISS method. I know the trellis is a little crooked and I need to defoliate a little!

OK no posts here in about three years, need to bring it back thank you, here,s 4 plants under 4 600 MH, I use a couple different approaches, indoor I do a star pattern with dowling through the tops of my 12 and 20 gallon pots, I could only fit 5 plants in the room and finnaly ended up takeing one of them out, not enough room,I'm getting ready to set my net over the plants for bud support, then i'll start thinning down under. outdoors I use a herring bone pattern, bendind the main shoot over then pining each branch back.

Here's what they looked like before the training started. (Bear in mind there is a two week difference between pictures.)

Hey merlot!! I love them!! They are a ton better than the smart pots, simply because of the debacle of repotting out of a smart pot! Damn near impossible!!! These are very easy to use. The thing to remember with air pots is to make sure you will all the voids in the pot with media. You really have to pack it in there well and kind of tilt the pot as you fill it. The rootballs always come out perfect in these pots, never seen one root circling the bottom in these!!!

Hehe I hear ya on that Milhouse! I recently transplanted a 15gal smartpot into a 30gal smartpot.. had to cut the smartpot up to get it out!

They look like they are looking great! Love those DGS strains you have there!

I posted some pictures back on page 10, but I've changed the way I do things a bit.

The picture below is of 2 SSH seed plants (not clones) in a 22 gallon tote. I accidentally vegged these plants one month more than I intended to. I used two strings, one for each main stem, but most of the remaining training was done with my hands and the stakes. All side branches were removed.

How do you accidentally veg plants for 4 weeks longer than you intended? :tiphat:

I asked myself the same question. Basically I thought I changed the timer from 18/6 to 12/12, but I didn't. Because sometimes SSH takes a while to flower and the plants were growing rapidly, as they would in the "stretch", I didn't go back and check the timer until I got very worried about running of vertical space. This happened a month into what I thought was the flowering cycle. When I went back to double check I noticed it was on 12/12. The plants that are pictured take up all of the room in my cab so I just managed to control them enough to finish the grow.
