If you have been following my grow from a ways back, this is a continuing story. But I feel that I have modified and finalized this cab to a point where a new start is in order. Its been a long road, but Im not going to fill this thread with all that. For a long read on my trials and errors that have got me to this point, check out my old grow thread:

Dimebaggs Build and Grow

Here are some of the fruits of my labors from the cab in previous form

My search for mostly affordable strains for mothers - Strains to treat anxiety and nerve issues, pain treatment for arthritis and carpel tunnel. I'd like to focus on mood enhancing, mind altering, creativity inspiring strains though, and will find a spot for both types in my garden.

Mothers will be sexed in 16oz cups. Once I determine that a plant is female, she will get transplanted into a square 1gallon pot. Im using a mix of Miracle Grow Organic soil and perlite. Im currently using MaxiGro powder and Superthrive.

Current soil mum-to-bes
-2x Nirvana PPP
-2x Nirvana Bubbleicious
-2x Spice of Life Blue Satellite 2.2
-2x Mandala Satori
-1x Reservoir Seeds SSSDHxG13

I've also had luck running 12/12 from seedling stage with this hydro system. So to get some herb before the long and tedious
sexing/mother selection process, I'll be doing the same this time.

12/12 from seedling hydro includes -
-GHS White Rhino fem
-GHS Cheese fem
-Nirvana PPP
-(TBA - Satori or Dinafem Power Kush)

Stay tuned :smokeit:

Well guys, this are going pretty well, seems I havent lost this blue thumb completely.

Its been the busiest few months of my life (plenty of good reasons, though I care not to share all that personal small talk) so I havent had much time to update.

Both GHS seeds pretty much stalled out on me in the cloner. They grew to a small size, then turned a little brown and crispy, and although they wouldnt die, they wouldnt grow either, so I tossed them. Replaced them in the cloner with a Satori and a Power Kush to try with 12/12 from seed(ling) as well.

Heres my PPP at just 3 weeks in 12/12. Put her in there at just 3" or so, so you can see the enormous amount of growth that has taken place for this small of a cab. Oh, and yes, she turned out to be a girl :tiphat: Ive done plenty of training with her, as Ive always had to do with my 12/12 from seeds in this cab. Also did some super cropping, and man, this plant is STOUT. The most sturdy, thick walled stems that Ive ever grown. Be it strain or the new living conditions, I cannot say yet, but Im impressed either way.

picture.php

And here she is fitting tight in the cab as always

picture.php

Heres a shot of the moms. All my Nirvana strains (PPP and Bubblicious in the back) are growing fastest and hardiest. Im not trying to sound like too much of a fanboy in this thread, but I cant argue with the results. All moms were planted at the same time, with same soil, and been getting the same nutes.

picture.php

But then, what the hell?!? where did these come from?

Both of my Blue Satellite 2.2s have thrown out bannanas, while still under 24 hours of light. Heat has been steadily between 79-84, theyve been getting .5-1tsp of MaxiGrow and a few drops of Superthrive per gallon of water. What do you guys think could cause this?

I've had BS2.2 continue generating flowers (both male plants and female plants) when severely root-bound or when they had root damage. One male clone in particular never recovered from a root aphid attack, never regenerated roots, but kept throwing out male flowers for two months under 24 hour light.

Thanks for the info! I did have a small gnat problem (they might be aphids, they burrow under the soil), but I hit them with neem oil pretty early. I dont think they are root bound just yet, but it might be getting tight in the cups. So if its just a finicky strain, those two small problems might have caused the issue.

No need for males at this point, sad to see them go so soon, but at least I didnt waste time cloning/sexing! Will replace with 2 more BS2.2s

Dimebagg - good to see your new show hasn't started yet. I wanna be in from the ground floor and see what you can do with the tweaked setup. Sorry to hear about the nanners. On the bright side, I'm guessing all that sealing you did is going to really pay off when it comes to dialing your cab in.

Good shit DimeBag the cab looks great! I got a couple questions for you. What are the black things in the back of each side and what is there purpose? Also were did you get your cool fan arm devices those things seem like they would be able to come in handy. Anyways man looks great I have a bunch more questions but they are about my cab it seems hard to find people willing to help on here now of days.

Keep up the good work and the beers look great.

Great Cab Dimebag!! Gotta love them cab grows!! Are you going to be doing any training to any of your plants? A little LST would go a long way in that cab!!!

Thanks man! And yeah, Ive already started tying down that PPP, you can see how that stem in the middle is horizontal, I think thats the main stem actually. Id say the PPP in flowering is getting close to 3' tall, Ive got her tied down to around 1'. I also supercrop, often in unison with the LST. I'll have to get a good shot of my training props, that PPP probably has 20 paper clips on it, haha.

Also, soil moms will get trimmed back in an effort to keep them naturally small and bushy. I have a feeling I'll be tying down some of them too though

Hey man, thanks for reading up!

Those black things are dark room louvers. They allow airflow to come in without letting any light pass through (in or out). They are commonly used for photography dark rooms, and you can get them at any camera shop (adorama is a great place to get them from online)

Those arms Im using are used as flexible airlines for compressed air. Ive also seen them used for liquid too though, and off hand I know they are used in parts-cleaners as the faucet basically. I have no idea what they are called, I got them from a place I worked. They are just a bunch of little badmitton shaped plastic pieces that fit together tightly like a ball and socket joint, allowing for a flexible arm, custom sized, and they hold tight enough to hold up my fans.

Ask away man. Im not here to show off, Im here to inspire. Im trying (and have already done) what 90% of growers have shrugged off as impossible.

If you have some free time, check out my other thread, its linked in my sig. Its basically the entire buildup of this cab, what worked, what didnt, all my trials and errors, as well as some very bountiful harvests, and everything thats led the cab to where it is now.

Thanks a lot DB I have lots of questions and plan on reading your whole first thread. Maybe you might be able to help me with the predicament that i am in.... ill ask you privately so I dont take up your thread.

Looks great though and hope to get a new "journey man" as my last one (BC Chronic) is MIA. This is only my second grow and I need lots of help and it seems that you have the credentials.

Hey great to see you in from the get go this time my man.

Sealing will definitely help me this time around. It wasnt an issue in the last run simply because of my living environment at the time. This time around it was an absolute necessity. So all in all, it was all something I wanted to do eventually, but I guess I just needed a reason to get it done haha.

Same as last time I grew 12/12 from seed, Im just impatiently awaiting for the stretch to end on this PPP. Ive got a ton of healthy bud spots though, so as long as she'll fit in the cab Im happy. Ive had to do a ton of training and tying down at this point.

You cant really see them but Ive got the Power Kush and Satori in the back there. PK is looking pretty, the Satori on the other hand is struggling a bit. I'll be getting my water at my new place tested as soon as I can get around to it, Im thinking the problem lies somewhere therein.

Nice!! Yah and I am blind dude, easily see there has been extensive training done! Looks awesome!! Those are some stout main stems dude!! Cant wait to watch the buds explode!!

Nice grow, dimebagg.
How often do you have to adjust pH given that you grow in 1 gallon tanks?
I have a small hydro experiment in a tank 3 times bigger and I have to adjust pH 2 times a day.
