Oh, I'm far too gone a pot snob for auto trimming, I see the advantages, certainly...but I have this thing....about quality and I have crick in my neck when I see dried petioles on a bud...it's a terrible mania!! A prison almost, machine cut buds will give you 2K less per pound around here, if you were into that sort of thing. It's a hang up, I know.:)I feel like an old lady knitting a sweater for a grandchild I hate, a big one...

Then best thing to do is load up a long que of good music, and smoke some herb that makes the time pass quickly. I agree there is definitely a downside in appearance for the machine trimmed nug, however if someone is on the verge of wanting to stop because of the tediousness of trimming, auto trimming could be a compromise - lol.

Ho now!! Looking properly floppy and that means sour and kushy. My TK3 is short and stocky, loves the 1000 vert bulb, she grew 3 in wide and 3 in tall in one day.:)

Unbelievable!! I just heard on the radio that they bagged Whitey Bulger in Santa Monica, on the Wall Street Report not Coast to Coast...I never thought they'd find him.

Tent is smelling of fresh cut pineapple, things are cramped in here but there are so many nugs all over the place. Can't wait to cut the ties I had to use to hold them up cause you won't see anything but buds. Day 50 of flowering going to start flush next feeding

Jeez Otto, I'd like to see some of the middle branches from that setup. Boy I had some Coastal collision that sat right up to the bare bulbs and pushed out some mean flowers.I started my 1000 bare bulb about 2ft away from the plants, I've run 1000's vert before but only inside a blown cooltube and this new bare bulb, in 3 days is kicking ass.:) I'd like to give a toast out to the EAST COAST this super summer weekend, we do have our times!!:dance013:

And here I was feeling proud of myself for the way they are taking to the lst.......It seems vert is the only way to roll these days..........gotta get through the summer before I start hittin' um bareback though.......

Hands down, nothing is more irritating than a bunch of vert lights.Wearing eye protection all the time is a pain in the ass but the problem is that one vert bulb run makes you wonder a bit, 2 vert runs lets you know a bit more then you're over, from then on if the verts are off it feels like someone turned out the lights.:) It's a great way develop fuzzy vision, walk out of a vert room into wintertime 4am darkness, incredibly blinding!

Rasp, mostly Mcfly's but got 6 early pearls, 1 white widow, and 1 lavender as well.

Chaco, if I could get to the middle to take a picture I would, some plants yellow a bit because their to close to the light and using the tent and all I don't have much of an option of pulling them back. But 95% of that tent is loving all that light and pushing out some serious buds, when I harvest I'll be able to get some better pics. I thought about buying some cool tubes but I feel like I'll only use them if my temps get out of control, and well growing in a basement has kept that in check.

stumpy, vert lighting is easier to control than you'd think, as long as you have excellent air flow and enough room. The LST looks nice if you get a chance next run, I highly recommend you try throwing a screen (piece of fencing with 2-3" squares) and weaving the stems over and under the first 2 weeks of flowering, I've gotten some of my biggest nugs and best yields using that method with horizontal lighting, just a suggestion.

The bare bulbs probably reduce the RH in the basement, great for summertime growing.I know my bare bulbs drop the RH from 80 to 55.It's cool when you have a slightly burned fan leaf hiding a big fat perfect chunk next to the bulb. Also started using diff sized bulbs for the verts, a nice 250 can do wonders for a dark corner. The whole vert thing has changed the way I look at my rooms for sure, just like taking the step into using coco, at first I was a bit nervous then after a month of this and that, I'm all coco now...what I'm going to do with all my rocks, I have no clue!
