IT'S THE WINTER SOLSTICE, TIME TO PLAN FOR THE SUMMER SOLSTICE

So it might be time to think about the coming summer of heat and flies. Today is the shortest day of the year. Time to start planning.

What are you going to put out? Picked a location yet? Have you got the mother plants for clones? Or are you just going to do seed? Time to think about it and get ready.

Personally I'm going to wait until close to the summer solstice until my plants go out. I'm sick of putting them out too early and having them go straight to flower. I've got the mother plants and pretty well have cloning nailed at the moment. I'm putting out mature plants, all clones, all female.

So here's a little link that may guide you.

What are you going to do?

Im going to say fuck all the critters that live in the bush that steal our weed and keep growing at home.
At least the risk is a lot lower at home not driving cars full of plants to and fro or ferrying water to places that if discovered may be staked out waiting for your visit.
Ever tried to fence out tasmanian devils?
Im just done with the effort and risk for fuckall reward from our paultry summers.
If residing in another state my outlook would change though.

Sorry to be so negative, ive been watching that maggot tony abbott for too long.

Yes the springtime will be on us in no time :D

I am hoping a solitary clone taken from a purple White Rhino will survive and be a good mother. She finished up 4 weeks before anything else i had out last season!

I also have more of the same seeds she came from and some of Brown Dirt Warriors strains to clone the shit out of...

Usually just go seeds but last season had good success with some clones (ie good veg growth) which were then finished inside.

Sounds like you've got everything sorted high country.
Lovely looking plants you got there silversurfer, as always. I take it thats the white rhino.

I've got some seeds to sort thru as some of you may know, I'm finishing my veg cabinet this weekend and then it's on for me.
I'm not exacly sure how i'll be using the season just yet, hopefully i'll have some clones ready to chuck outside early october, but I'll sort out a flowering cabinet in a few months, so who knows what'll happen.
I guess i'm sort of in the same boat as cloud11, and don't get me started on the politicians, they get paid to act like children all day, we vote for the people and not the policies, like some sort of democratic dictatorship.
If i had my way the greens would hold power, they seem to have a more mature aproach to policies and governing.
Sorry for the rant, peace to all...

Sow the seed and grow the weed, I don't get into the politics of it at all. At the moment I've got 40 female clones, I had a plan for them, inside, but work issues might change that very soon. I might have to shut them down and keep them under stasis for a few months, if possible.

NOT QUITE SURE HOW I CAN SLOW THESE GIRLS DOWN

We shall see.

Cheers mate. Top photo is Grapefruit. Bottom pic is the Rhino. They were on a drip in LC's#1 coco mix and were easily my best plants last season.

I think the black pots really helped em soak up the sun when it showed its face :smoke:
