Beware of Beliefs

What would our world be like if we ceased to worry about "right" and "wrong," or "good" and "evil,"
and simply acted so as to maximize well-being, our own and that of others?
Would we lose anything important?

Its unreasonable to believe the government isn't corrupt, through all levels.

Might expand that to people. Systems aren't necessarily corrupt. It's the people that corrupt them.

The argument that guns don't kill people proves itself, among other principles.

I believe that people get really emotional and defensive whenever beliefs are the topic.
;)

I believe that mind comes before matter.

life's great brother!!!

except for the MRI i have to go to on Sunday, my sciatic nerve is fucking with me again.....

There may be hope for you. My pops used to go to the emergency room at 3 or 4am for sodium pentathol, just so he could sleep. Several years later the sciatic pain ceased. Doctors thought that calcium deposits that formed bone spurs were corrected by diet.

Bulged-disk treatment might be more invasive.

I know that's not much help when you hurt. Best wishes.

FWIW, I have found natural remedies to work. I would have crippling gout in my hip if it were not for raw apple cider vinegar. Removed 20 years from my middle aged ass.

BTW, I only believe the first two of the three sentences above. :D

I believe if the sun didn't come up each day we would all be up shit creek.
