:thank you: It's helping that the weather is on my side this year and the genetics I'm putting in to play are more the "large marge" type.

Here's another Betsy just doin' her thing...

:cathug:

I am worried about running out of soil to keep a plant the size these will grow in to healthy over the course of the year but luckily the Betsy is early and hopefully I can put together a hard enough working soil that I don't have too many problems.

Going to start foliar spraying as soon as I get a new pump for my ATV sprayer and hook my irrigation up in the coming week. One big thing this year was I did not start them on the irrigation like last year..I have been using a hose and wand to "hand water" my smart pots in an effort to establish my plants with a stronger root system. I'm also ditching the misters in favor of the emitter tape every one else is using. The sprayers are cool but I think they gave me some stem rot problems last year. With the pruning program I'm putting in to play this year and switching to drippers and all the MycoStop, Companion, Plant Shield and Mykos I've been throwing at them I'm hoping it'll work out.

Hi Trinity....Looking good there mate:tiphat:
I dont know if you guy's can get these soaker hoses over there but if you can they are great for pots as they just weep out water and can be layed around the edges of the pots which will make your roots spread out better. I also hook them up to a barrel and put liquid organic tea's into them so they feed through the hoses. These hoses are made from recycled tires, I also use them when doing my plants in the ground and as the plants get bigger I just make the hoses bigger......they dont need much pressure to work.....anyway just a thought.

Just want to say good luck everybody and all looking good:gday:

Solstice update from the tree farm ... the furnace is on for sure and the plants are putting on multiple inches per day. Super thankful for the good weather and strong preseason that went in to this year! ... First is one of the Afwreck x Cherry Thai I plugged and then it froze to 25 degrees...What a plant!! Second is the Old Betsy...The queen of my garden this year.

Very beautiful TG. :tiphat:
The Afwreck x Cherry Thai took that weather speed bump in stride!
Quick question is there a reason your keeping all the weeds tall in your garden? and not the medicinal vegetation haha, I completely understand if your swamped with those ladies the weeds just really stood out to me.

I'm extremely jealous of the season you guys up north have had our June has been one of the gloomiest I can remember.

Yes bro the reason for the weeds is I've been EXTREMELY busy. They will be gone by the next update and I'll have drippers and straw everywhere! Thanks for the kudos every one! 2011 is going to be a big year!! I finished plugging every thing in on the 20th so I'm feelin' good about that :D Hope to see a prosperous year for all my big plant brothers.

wow its really fun seeing some of these incredible plants... its cool to see what is possible and for you experienced guys to give out so much info.

My first serious and so far successful attempt at growing out doors is going well. It amazes me how others' plants can be so huge already, just a testament to the knowledge and dedication of many of you. It makes me really want to take it to the next level, but I have to remind myself one step at a time... I'm already doing more than I thought I ever would be able to. So, here's my buddy and I's little plot as of 6/20!

A couple phenos of some maui waui that we grew from seed indoors and kept clones. A white widow we grew from seed and kept as well, and a bubba kush clone.. here in the northstate, just east of the triangle :)

edit:
Butte County Marijuana Ordinance Halted

http://www.khsltv.com/content/local...-Ordinance-Halted/xjJYo3qvoUuDhl4gBpITRw.cspx

"Opponents of the bill delivered four boxes of signed petitions to Butte County officials Wednesday afternoon totaling more than 12,000 signatures. The ordinance that was scheduled to go into effect Thursday, but has been suspended until the clerk-recorder examines the petitions to determine if at least 7,600 of the signatures are valid."

""They can either repeal the ordinance altogether, or they can say let the people decide at the next election. So that's the kind of choice the board will have in the next few weeks," Deputy Butte County Administrator Sang Kim said."
