looks good brother, i have 10 goin right now and im plannin on re-veg them if i find one i like, your setup looks clean couple of questions y all the surge protectors??
digital ballast right? i think the hydrofarm timers are not to be used with digital, but maybe its just my phantom.....
how many amps is the fuse for your kitchen? ur rooms hooked into ur breaker box right? 20 amp fuse at least just to be safe i have 2x 30 amps just in case i wanna upgrade

Hey statefarmguy thanks for stopping by. As far as the questions about amps and stuff, I really don't know. I would love to learn more about it though if you don't mind sharing some knowledge with a newbie. All I know for sure is that I've never blown a fuse or anything. Why so many surge protectors? One runs everything on the timer, one runs everything 24/7. For both the veg/mom/clone cab and my room. Thanks so much for the help. Hope to hear back soon.

Today I've got to get some pictures of the progress up. The one that had nute burn is recovering very well. I have two more clones rooted to go in the DWC. Waiting for Mom to bush out again so I can take some more cuts. I found out the exact flaw on how I've been cloning. When it came to scraping the sides of the stock, instead of scraping I was sharpening it almost like a pencil. Not the way to go. I wish somewhere in any of the cloning forums that they would have specified how lightly they actually need to be scraped. Well either way now I know. I'll post pics in a little while.

Thanks,
J Budman

Sounds good, not really much to share in the way of this is my first year at this too.. lol always tryin out new ideas

as far as breakers and electricity goes im no electrician.. hahaha my bro wired it all up for me (he is a electrician) judging by the age of ur house its 50/50 wether you have fuses or breakers i know nothing about "fuses". with breakers you only want to pull 1/2 of the available amperage so 20amp breaker you can run 10 amps off= 1000W and a couple fans... pop the panel by your electric meter and see what you have and have a buddy who knows WTF they are doing change it wither larger amperage breakers, or have him add a breaker in the panel only for yourgrow, thats what i did i dont even gotta go in there i can hit the breaker to turn it off but still love checkin on me ladies

My Internet is down yet again so I might have my buddy dnotrem post an update. Just pictures then I can come on and explain what's going on from my phones Internet. Now I just need to wait for him to wake up. Haha. So either way I'll have some pictures updating thi post today. The pictures wil be of how my ladies thy are flowering are doing as of today, my two freshly rooted clones that will go in my DWC with the other two filling up the DWC, then I have some pictures of clones I took on purpose during flowering(the useless bottom branches) for "monster cropping". The whole "monster cropping" technique seems really appealing to me and I figured; Why not? So that the prologue and hopefully the pics will be up soon, then I can explain better. So if not me posting then it'll be dnotrem posing pics for me.

See ya soon,

Bump.

Hey guys just stopping in to say I'm gonna be posting pics, if not today then tomorrow. The plants are at week four, I cut nineteen clones off momma, I have a "monster cropped" clone (just means clone taken during flower to produce the most shoots I've ever seen, google it) rooted and in soil, and I have two of my old clones in bubble buckets growing away. Both of the clones in buckets are struggling, I gave them a slight case of nute burn by being careless and giving the wrong amounts by my own carelessness. I hate to say it but they really arent important, just a kinda side project. Now the nineteen clones I cut, those on the other hand are really important. Those are my future crop. I'm going to pick the best and stongest and put the max number under my 600 Watt HPS/MH. What's the best number of plants in you guys' opinion to put under the light? Planning on vegging just a little past SOG instead of 2 weeks, more like 4. I wanna get it done quickly with still some TLC and high yeilds....

Either way I'll get us some kind of update between today and tomorrow,
Sorry it got so boring Hahaha,
J Budman

They are getting frosty tho!!!

Quick Update...

Quick Update...

These pics pretty much explain themselves. The first are of just one of the clones I'm messing with in DWC to gain more experience with it. I'm using LSTing and topping combined just to make her huge. She is blowing up. First is after rooting and transplant the other two are now. Big difference. The next five are of my Momma. I just LSTed her to get all the side shoots ready for cloning. I might have to pause for a while after this is finished, so I'm just gonna keep her and cut clones again when ready. I have like 8 freshly rooted clones that I might just run a quick SOG and hopefully harvest before it gets too hot. If it works that's fine, if not that's fine too. And finally the last two are quick shots of some of the buds. I need to take more tonight and post some more in depth pictures of them. Well here goes...

looking good my only tip is id recomend taking ur cuts during veg so that way they dont loose there vigor
I do take my cuts during veg. I took a bunch during flower to try a new technique called monster cropping. Here is a really good link describing it:

http://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/346874-monster-cropping-increasing-yield.html

It's an amazing new technique of growing. I was gonna use it for mothers since the amount of shoots us unbelievable. Check it out and you will see why I took a bunch during flower. I did do it very much on purpose though.

One question I have for everyone is: what's the bet way to transplant from a bubble cloner to soil? I'm getting a really high percentage rate of rooting clones, but after I transplant to soil the roots stop growing and eventually the clone dies.

Hey everyone just showing you what's going on in my veg cab real quick. I have a little clone that I was experimenting with DWC and she's just blowing up. I've been LSTing her, and topping. Here she is the little bush. They finally made a safari upload enabler tweak for the iPhone so now I can post straight from my phone which is awesome. I think once these last batch of tops veg their way in I'm gonna probably throw her into flower. Here goes...

And here is a picture of one of the new strains I got, ewok kush. And also a picture of my silver haze mommy. I think it's fair to say she's ready for some more cuts huh? I also got some turbo deisel seeds and some chem dogs. They will be mommies in the future.

Sorry about the sideways pics. I can't change it now, but I know now on to take my pictures in landscape mode. Whoops. Just tilt your head and enjoy. Haha

Super healthy JB! I used to start bubble clones in rockwool and then just transplant to soil with good results.

Do you mean from bubble cloner, to rock wool, then to soil? If so what do you do to get the clone into the rock wool? Split the rock wool cube then put the clone in, then put it into the soil. Or do you have a different way to do it? I just need to get that down, the transplanting into soil, then I can keep it moving. Thanks for the compliments and the tips. Keep 'em coming guys...

best option if you need them in soil is to put clones into a bubbler or aerocloner and them straight to the soil/soiless mix when they have some roots. most strains would do 100% cloning rate this way, and you just need the cloner, the soil and some pots to put the rooted clones in.

good luck!
