Hey Guys.....

wasn't sure where to post this but as im in coco and i recognise a few faces in this category thought i post my new grow up in here...

As a comparison in the same space as my stadium i am going to try a flat garden to see what i can achieve....:)

i love vert growing but the heat become an issue so early on this year i have had to go Aircooled and until summer is over... so watch out septembers going to be a crazy ass vert setup....:jump:

2 weeks Later....

LST & High Defoliation are as follows... :)
plants vegged for 2 weeks in half litre pots...
picture.php

picture.php

i then remove all large leaf this is the Defoliation part... :D
ends up looking like this...
picture.php

then get your 3.5L pot... and place the plant to the right hand side of pot and fill with coco... this will give you more Room to train the plant over to the left...
picture.php

next get some wire from your garden centre cut a bit about 2 to 3 inches and hook over each end like sooooo...... :)
picture.php

picture.php

you then attach one end to the top of the plant and i like to bend the plant over slowly careful not to snap the stem but a little crush and tear here and they don't hurt..
picture.php

then bend the plant totally over and attach to the bottom of the stem and you should have something that looks like this!!!....
picture.php

they are going to get 2 weeks like this and then move into the 10L Smart pots... a further week vegging and then into flower...

thanks for stopping by i will update weekly as and when things start to happen :thank you:

TAG... 1 question though... Did you already have the hoods? Cause otherwise I'm curious why you didn't use cool tubes to stay vert! ha ha... it's a cult brother... The only way out is through death.

thanks B and Dank.... :tiphat:

Bob Cool tubes are shit!.... you loose up to 15% where the glass has been bent and the light bounces round the inside of the tube before exiting towards the plants... have seen this with a light meter... also some say By cooling the bulb you lower the lamp voltage This can dim the lamp by 5%.... the new hoods are the best on the market give the best spread and i have wanted to try these for ages so thought why the hell not.... :D Bob fear not after the summer i will be making an all new racked stadium like no other plans already done...

oneQ for a proper SOG at a minimum you would need at least 1 plant per sqft this would mean i need 120... really a proper SOG would be 480 plants or i thought about for perfect 3.5ft spread of each hood 7 plants wide by 30 long on each side Making up 420 total... :pimp3:

besides these have had to be trained and cut back due to the amount of veg time they have had i would like to think im going to get 2.5oz per plant no SOG plant can produce that amount of bud.... hope that clears things up :)

I'm rocking two super sun 2's in my veg tent... So I'm not a complete hater when it comes to reflectors.. ha ha... just had to ask. I've never used a cool tube... but I see what you're saying with the thicker glass trapping more light... I'm gonna take my seat and keep quiet now.... Watch a master at work. :good:

metal work for new extraction setup...

picture.php

one of the 3 silencers quite as a mouse now no noise outside at all..

picture.php

6 inch airforce fan and 8 inch rhino filter on the right for permanent extraction... stuck with the 12 inch airforce instead of the smaller 10 i was down grading to... this sucks direct from the filter and pushes into a 12 inch reduces down to 2 x 6inch outlets...

picture.php

the 12 to 6 to 6 reducer from the 12inch airforce feeds air to these...

picture.php

that then flows through the 2 rows of lights into another 12 to 6 to 6 that then goes through the metal setup at the end where all the silencers are ect...

wow LL, very nice build so far. Major air extraction ftw... Sorry to hear about the mites. I guess bug problems happen with all of us. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
