Disco can't help you with the VLC, I use the SopCast no authentication needed just download and install, login anonymous and put in channel #3912/24267 and good to go

Yeah the public mma-tv streams (the vlc/winamp, sopcast and tvu ones) seem to be down at the moment. I get the username/password thing in VLC and no connection in winamp.

The private mma-tv flash stream is up though, so I suspect they will turn on the public ones and the private winamp/vlc ones as it gets closer to the event.

The site Retro recommended looks solid for the Showtime fights at least.. http://streamick.com/tv/showtime
