Glad you fellas enjoy them. Here is a cut that I made with the Black Haze Clone and Mosca C99 BX-1. Don't know the quality of the smoke as of yet. She seems to have the growth and Bud structure of the Black Haze but fruity like the C99. Seem she will be ready in 70 days give or take a few. So she definitely knocked 30 to 40 days off the time of the original. She was grown in 5 gal pot of coco base organic mix. One thing she does is yield. The second pic is 4 colas in the same bucket but all together its 6 large colas and 4 smaller ones. A lil fluffy but from my experience a lil fluffy is good with large colas air passes so no bud rot.

So far my pollen chucking has resulted in some decent herb. Far from junk but far from what I'm seeking. Yield, smell, and looks seems to improve but potency seem to be the same or below par the original mom. No improvements no keepers lol. After a lil reading switching my technique. Instead of looking for the pretty boys gonna start using the stinky males and see if it adds something. Just a lil side thing nothing of main importance. Very time consuming... In real life when you add hot water to hot water you get hot water. In this seed genetics if you add fire genetics to fire genetics you don't always get fire genetics. Well at least in my situation cause my clone only strains are not stable genetics to begin with.

it is a shame that so many clone only elites are not stable.

i have yet to chuk any pollen and i have a few strains in seed but the more i read on the subject of breeding the more apprehensive i get about germinating them.

i think that breeding with unstable genetics would require growing a large # of its offspring to find the desired traits, and who knows how many generations until they can be combined and stabilized.

btw, is there a trick to posting larger pics?

I could be wrong by saying this but if you gonna pollen chuck. Make sure you in it from the long haul and make sure you have something worth working on. The success of the genetics you working with is only gonna be as good as the time you put in it. Plus so many breeder's/pollen chucker's are doing so many crosses that if you don't have the time or space. You better off letting them do all the work and find something unique in their work. Popping seeds is a good opportunity of finding the next elite but time consuming and a unique clone is just a hand away. So you have to ask yourself what are you in this for. To provide to the med user's, to smoke high grade Dank for rec or med, or to find the next elite in seed form. The choice is yours but I come to learn seed popping gets expensive and that just not the money you spent on the pack space, lights, nutes, time, and freedom. To grow duds and hermies lol. Is it worth it to you?

that is why im hesitant.

if im going to chuk pollen then im going to be in it for the long haul and i do have some good genetics and collecting more but atm i think i will sit back and learn.

:yeahthats I've been messing around with breeding for years and wasted a ton of time and effort because I started with crap genetics and I got nothing to show for it.

If you're not absolutely diligent in tracking and IDing your plants, documenting your crosses and following up on everything, you will significantly lessen your chances of accomplishing anything worthwhile.

I finally have some good genetics to play with and I did a bunch of crosses this spring, but I realize that the time and effort to sort them out will still probably not yield much. I already had my first "Oh Shit" moment when I gave my friend 3 different bags and said "Smoke away, just bring me back the seeds".

Didn't think I have to tell his stoner ass not to put all the seeds in one container . . . .

LOL Even at times I feel like the lil mouse in the lab that is being used to test the great new invention to see what will become of the product. In our case the best cross/hybrid. Those mouse are smarter then most of us cause it least they don't have to pay 100 plus for their test dosage LMAO. The supply and demand is serious business. These post are not meant to discourage anyone from finding their next miracle plant. Its out their i hope but chance seem to get slim as the genetics are becoming more mixed up.

For those one you running 1kw in the south, whats your ventilation consist of? Will a large enough fan keep temps within a 10 degree range? Or is it necessary to A/C?

Not in the summer down here it will not, better get some AC, I highly recommend a split level AC unit, it will do the job without a odor problem or a noise issue :) :tiphat:

im runnin a 600w / 400w vert bare bulb in a 4x4 SJ DR120II and i had to change my lights on to 10pm - 10am and i have a window ac unit vented directly into the bottom of the tent and i have a 84 F high temp during lights on.

i dont use the main ac at night but had to when my lights were on during the day and i was fighting to keep my temps below 91 F.

i believe that with a larger cfm extraction fan i could get lower temps when lights on but 84F is good enough.

Hey Blaner, just checked out your Bubba grow and man I have to say great job. Can you tell me how many whatts, how many plants, and how much yeild? I know she dosen't yeild well just wanting to know. Again great job bro, and by the way Bubba is that "IT" bud for me. She's my favorite by FAR. I'm jealous.:ying:

Here a strain that been around for ages. Don't know the background of her but she is the fastest I ever grown. Time to put her to rest as she no longer fits the bill. About to be replaced with something special. She is at 50 days in this pic with a 8 day flush. A true cropper with avg potency.

I had a request of some early bud shots. Here are some at 16 days of 12/12 the funk on these next two are funky in early flower. The first is (CDxSD)x(SD IBL).
