About to shave my head, wish me luck

M

Mountain

If my hairline ever recedes, I will shave my head.

Not until then.
Ha ha...good call. Enjoy your hair while it lasts. Promised myself I'd never do the 'comb over' thing or Rogaine or any bullcrap ego stuff like that. I now shave my dome pretty regularly. My 'good hair' days have long since passed. I like the no muss no fuss simplicity of a stubble headed dome. I've probably spent like $20 on haircuts in the last few years between growing a ponytail or going peach fuzz up top.

5 minutes every morning with the Mach 3......gives me a much better aerodynamic shape...and so lower drag coefficient....(and no it's got nothing to do with wearing womens clothes...lol)

In fluid dynamics, the drag coefficient (commonly denoted as: cd, cx or cw) is a dimensionless quantity that is used to quantify the drag or resistance of an object in a fluid environment such as air or water. It is used in the drag equation, where a lower drag coefficient indicates the object will have less aerodynamic or hydrodynamic drag. The drag coefficient is always associated with a particular surface area.

The drag coefficient of any object comprises the effects of the two basic contributors to fluid dynamic drag: skin friction and form drag. The drag coefficient of a lifting airfoil or hydrofoil also includes the effects of lift-induced drag. The drag coefficient of a complete structure such as an aircraft also includes the effects of interference drag....

....first shaved my head around 1990......most ladies seem to love it...I'm always getting regular French Polishing....

Damn. You have stated the exact same reasons I manscaped my testicular hair. Well that and the fresh cool breeze of air rushing across the boys.

I'm definitely a fan of more blades. I can remember shaving with safety razors. Hell, I've even got an old fashioned straight razor that sharpens as well as it did new. But shaving with blades feels like it's pulling out at the root, even with a new blade. (I bet you don't have that problem.:))

Does fusion have a battery? It really makes a difference. I wouldn't trade mine for a cordless braun.

Here's what happened when I cut my ponytail and went the stubble approach...lots of ladies started saying how good it looked...heh heh :). I asked a few if they wanted to polish my head...lol!

Take the whiskers off right down to the epidermis with 1 motion.
The Fusion Power has the battery. got to say it shaves close and the blades seem to last longer. Sure beats the Trac II I used to use, which was a massive improvement over the old 2 sided razor I used before that. Those old things would slice you before you knew it.

WTF? I was about to tell Gypsy to try the Shick Hydro 5 blade one and then you bust out that shit on me?

I really like the way my head feels today. It's sort of like sandpaper. I'm addicted to rubbing it.

I want one that will just contour to my head and shave it all in one fell swoop

Ahhh.....then you must be Scottish and wear a kilt all of the time....

*Scott's rarely if ever wear briefs/knickers/panties... under their kilts....so many Scott's have told me so....

"High speed, low drag". Yeah!

I buzz. 3/8" I think.
Might go stubble sometime. Shaving still too much work for my lazy ass.

I even buzz while in the shower stall (water off). Makes clean-up a breeze. :tiphat:

If you use a blade, the best shave is in the shower. Steam reduces blade friction. An anti-fog shower mirror is also a handy addition to the shower stall.
