Update on my BudBox

Update on my BudBox

Hi there guys!
Apart from a light scorch that seems to helped in hurrying the ladies :) it´s all good in my box. They are now on the 7th week and i´ve decided that they all go down at 9weeks exactly.
I´ve started a good few MNS SSH so the next grow will be a mix of fast strains in big pots, maybe GP but yet to decide, and Mr.Nice SSH in smaller pots and with just 3weeks of veg.
I don´t like it easy nor boring:blowbubbles:
Here´s a couple of pics from what´s going on around here

While the White Widow burns

While the White Widow burns

I´m testing my WW cross chopped at day 51 after 3 days in the airing cupboard...less abrasive on the lungs and on ones mind:dance013:
I prefer it this way but sometimes the couchlock effect is needed so i´m gonna leave what´s left of the plant another couple of weeks.
I was thinking of not stop giving her nutes in order to delay maturation and induce possible male nanas. I am crazy i now, but from the craziest ideas good things might came:dance013:
Here´s some pics from what i am talking about

Newborn SSH

Cool pics bro! cant wait to see more, G'Luck!

Thanks my man!
I will start the new batch in 2weeks time if life does not mess my plans around :) I am off to the mountains so i need to leave the things with low maintenance needs because i don´t want to put pressure on my missus:ying:
Here´s my new little things . Super Silver Haze and a cross that caught my eye and that i´ve decided to try. Let´s call it Diesel Haze47:dance013:

I also got plenty of cuts going on but that´s the price to pay for having a diverse garden. We never know where the special one is until you try it...over and over again sometimes:)
I must praise the 51 days white widow because it´s freaking awesome daytime weed. I´ve woke up at 7am just to smoke a early one while working in the garden before anybody else wakes up, damn stoner:laughing:

Great stuff mate. Those green poisons are great plants, ive grown about 13 in all. Found 2 keepers, one was a beautiful smelling plant, wasnt as fast as others at 8 weeks, but still pretty good. Some of them were ready at 45 days and all yielded really well. I am sure there is a 7 week pheno with the great aroma and flavour of the 8 week one i had. Its a variety ill most likely grow again oneday. Its great for definate fast harvest of good smoke.

Psicodelicia is another good one, i had a real purple pheno, not as nice as the green one i had though. Great plant again. Got my seeds of this mixed up with either some red leb regs, or sweet affie fems, so not sure whats what there now.

Nice one guys!

Nice one guys!

Looking great Paulo73 :) some nice strains you have there mate :)

Hi there speedemon!:tiphat:
A diverse garden keeps boredom away and makes harvest time even more special. Thank you for the kind words and atb for your projects.

4 different kinds of cheese? You'll be making Quatro Formaggio joints!

Hi there daoboxer! Thanks for coming around:thank you:
On my last counting i could find 8 different kinds of cheese available through seedbanks, dispensaries or friends. I am pretty sure that the number as gone up since:)
At the moment i go Uk Cheese, Dinafem Cheese,Blue Cheese, Dready Cheese and Sweet Cheese...this can get a man confused:laughing: This all come out because a daft friend of mine a while ago was ready to start a grow but only with cheese cuts/seeds, damn wanker:moon: So i´ve went through the trouble of chasing all these ones in order to do the Quattro Formaggi kind of grow. Sticky, strong and stinky :dance013:

Hi there Solidopc!
I am really enjoying my GP and in general all Sweet strains, after a rough start due to lack of ideal growing conditions, they´ve all catch up quite nicely.
Imho the pheno thing is in some ways a funny myth. Of course that in every seed batch you see plants expressing different traits as they grow result of their adaptation to the environment surrounding them. In my opinion plants do this to guarantee more chances of survival within a certain group of plants of geographic region.
What i mean is even if you found the perfect pheno for your environment that does not guarantee that the plant will show the same response when grown on my set-up.
Another thing is that i am almost sure that phenos evolve :blowbubbles:
If you keep a mother long enough you will start to see minor changes on the progeny as time goes by and not all of them are bad:ying:
Sorry but i am having trouble in organizing my thoughts and write them down in english so i must pause them...damn white widow!

Hi there good people from ICmag!:tiphat:
Settled in the new place is about time to start showing off my green bits:dance013:
With the new place come a new set-up :jump:
BudBox XL
Adjust-a-wing reflector
600W HPS PowerPlant
RVK 150 with Primair controler and rhinno filter extracting
100RVK intake
Stand Fan

The feeding is a la carte and i use the many shade of green technique :blowbubbles:to know what and when to feed.
I use mollasses, Epson Salts, FishMix, AlgaeMix,some home made foliars and all the girls are on Plant Magic soil.
They don´t look that bad so my guess is i got a sweet thing going on:dance013:
Now the line-up at the moment.....
GreenPoison from SweetSeeds is the favorite from this batch.
Here she is less then 3weeks ago just before the potting up to 17lts of Plantmagic:)

Please don´t come all emotional about the solar panels because after 24hrs you can´t see any free space at all:dance013:i just love those long green legs free of leafs

Just to finish and because i don´t want my Mazzar going all jealous on me i must show her
picture.php

All naked and wide open :blowbubbles:
They are now on a 16/8 light cycle that i intend to flip in the next few days.
Take care guys:ying:

Hey Paulo72, I notice you refer to the shades of green technique as a way of feeding plants, yet I have heard others refer to it as a leaf moving exercise? Just to save me being confused as I am just looking up leaf removal stuff but cannot reference to shades of green? But I can see the logic in both descriptions of it e.g shades of green as in fan leaves shading the bud?? Shades of green as in using leaf shade colour to indicate when it needs feeding :) But which is the real one?? lol I am stoned and need to know lol

Good morning Speedemon! Sorry but last night i was in no state to reply to you :)
When i mention the many shades of green thing i was not even aware that this description was already being used related to canna growing :)
My bad i guess but goes to show that data/experience/knowledge are flowing above our heads we just need to grab it and make sense out of it.But let´s not digress...
When i mention the shades of green i mean trying to find the ideal shade of green for every strain at a certain given moment and do your feeding based on that.
This is not a exact science and demands plenty of time around your plants as long as good observation skills and know how about the specifics of a given plant.
I am shit at keeping records and routines, bores me to death, but i am not that bad at connecting the dots so i rather relate the plant response to what goes on then going deep in my records to try and find out what i've done wrong.
I got my share of books, pests&sickness charts and a whole range of nutrients and supplements but i try not get stuck to any particular formula. Maybe because i consider myself a novice grower and didn't found that golden goose formula yet.
I am not sure if my answer was in any way helpful but to me growing weed is just like making love. There's no recipe you need to find the most pleasant way to do it...for you and your loved one :)
Wake and bake made this answer possible ;)
If you got more specific questions i will try to answer my friend.
Take care
