i understand how some don't choose to believe in Christ or God because, everyone doesn't originate from our God. you can become adopted and that's through grace-faith in Christ and his atonement for our sins. if, you choose to believe or not that's your prerogative but, why sensationalize every nut job out there and neglect all the good people making a difference. don't misconstrue the word. what you don't understand about the word or the misconceptions you have are easily explained by people who've actually read the word and meditated on it. According to Christianity human repetition, customs, and practices don't mean much to God:

Well actually God despises paganism. The catholic church is 90% pagan.

So why when you walk into so many churches is there 80% repetition of customs and practices that have nothing do with what is actually written in the bible?...This why I always say read it for yourself and judge not what others say but judge for yourself.

It is unfortunate that so many preachers preach and believe what is not even written. It is even more unfortunate others also judge the religion by what these people espouse as fact.

well my screen went dark but nothing here, I am on the east coast though so it may not be time yet! I don't know if I believe or not, but I do not believe in this guy. Only 2% will make it to heaven? You mean 98% of humanity is not good enough? Or put another way, that many deserve eternal torture? That is a tough pill for me to swallow! Personally, I don't think ANYONE deserves that. Brutal dictators may deserve to be punished for a certain amount of time per transgression, but even if that is one million years, it is still not forever. I have trouble believing but I have just as much trouble thinking everything just came out of nothing. we will see I guess.

What I find amazing about all of this is that neatly tucked away in our criticism and humor of religious fantasy is certain realities we refuse to face. Is the world ending tomorrow, no, but are we sowing the seeds of our own demise daily, yeah. Sadly for us, humans are the worst procrastinators. We don't actually act on a problem until it becomes almost too much for us to deal with.

We have large groups of people that have an unwavering faith in a God they have never seen, but those same folks refuse to believe what's happening before their very eyes. We're destroying our habitat and home every day we accept the status quo. Our kind continues to breed uncheck and oblivious to our impact on this planet, so while the rapture and or the apocalypse is entertaining the world is literally dying all around us.

The world is going to end eventually, and probably a lot sooner than many of us can imagine.
