Digi/Mag, Lumatek/Quantum...wtf???

Hey folks, I'm off to grab a new light tomorrow and wanted input from the guys using this shit instead of the clown at the hydro shop, or the marketing guys at the website selling me their product.

I'm getting a 600w, my local shop only has 600's in digi it seems. My options are a Quantum for $240, and a Lumatek for $290. Can't figure out for the life of me wtf theres a $50 price difference...

Any suggestions?

My local hydro shop will match horticultresource.com pricing for me. You might want to check around. For what its worth I use galaxy 600s and couldn't be happier. They are digital, made by sunlight supply, and only $170.

Yeah I'm in the middle of fucking nowhere dude. It's more a matter of they carry what they want...and charge me what they want. Only reason I was thinking of buying from these guys is if it fucks up on me its only a few hours drive for me to get a replacement. 75% of the US hydro shops don't ship to Canada anyhow...found this out with my recent 6" inline fan purchace...tons of great deals in the states...I had to suck it up n' buy "locally".

I guess that's part of living in a rural part of canada. Sucks that your hydro shop doesn't treat you better. They should remember they wouldn't be there without people like you.

I like my Quantum 1000w,runs cool and fan replacement is not a problem if needed

Funny to stumble on to this post as it's two months old. I bought a SunMax and a GrowFlux. Both 600w switchables, both came with a set of bulbs and all the cords. I like the SunMax. The GrowFlux can fuck off though...worked for a week then quit. Seller says he'll exchange it obviously...might have to do with all those jugs of Flora Nova Bloom I bought...or he's just a nic guy.
