I mean the smell in the jar, not the potential smell of the weed.no actually i thought the opposite would be true(or hoped)
When you first are handling the weed a lot you're breaking a lot of trichomes and sending the smell of volatile terpenes into the air.
Over time the smell from the broken trichomes fades until you break more but because you're storing it in a jar and not touching it hardly at all in later stages of curing then the smell will be more muted because there are no freshly broken trichomes to spread it.
Weed in a baggie in your pocket smells strong because the trichomes are breaking all the time and the temperature is so warm. In a jar undisturbed not so much.
