What is the material you set the net pots into looks like corrplast?
I was taught a similar method with the trenches you guys are using, seems like your circle took the system and engineered it for medical trees, might have to jock some ideas from you guys.

the system is from manitoba, and about 30 years old now. i had to keep plant numbers low at my new residence, so i did troughs instead of my usual tables. just got my script on fri, so i will be rigging up 48 600 to 200 amps. getting all my mamas back too and starting 12 more strains for now that no one has that are kcc hybrids.
like i said, manitoban growers are cheaper then bc growers surprisingly, and these tables cost nothing to build and operate which is rare with hydro set ups generally. im stoked to get some bc guys of the bails lol. especially now when the beaster market is done and gone,

Hmm the system I was given was designed around a stretchy jack cut that has been around since the 90's on the island. 1 gal pots of loose rockwool space out every foot or so in a polyed trough draining back into the rez. definitely cheap to build all you need is some 2x4s plywood and nails or screws, even cheaper when you have a good salt recipe and don't have to buy watered down nutes. 1/2 -2 lbs per 600 is common with a 4 day veg .. bet its hard to go back to growing in dirt.
heres a 8 lighter I helped build for a friend I am gonna direct him here, il get him to try cutting the bottoms out of the pots and putting corplast onto of the trenches to secure the pots so the roots can grow in the trench.. maybe throw a airstone or two in the trench.. these are 16 foot long. Your system makes more sense especially if your vegging longer but with the 4 day veg I don't know if the extra root space will do much.

sweet gm. i love nft in general, u cant over or underfeed, solution temps dont matter much, and all you have is roots to waste. would love to see that jack grow preharvest. in nfts plants never stop growing, unless the flow is too high or too low and extremes and or of either. ive never had better meds in any other set up, and ive tried almost everything at least once. thanks for the pix,

Ok Med Man, so basically, all this system does is drip through the netpot, down over the roots, and back into the rez? or is this drip to waste? i am just starting to mess with hydro and what not, and i want to try as many methods till i find one that works for me best. thanks

just 9. going 1 plant per square foot is too much. most plants quadruple in mass by harvest after flipping. u will get bigger buds with less plants, especially because the reflective film does so much for lighting efficiency and growth rates,

so its been one hell of a week. the plants and cage killed the drain angle so leaked a whole res on the ground, droughting them hardcore. then a tiny piece of plastic clogged the mixer pump so tons of algae built up and clogged the drip lines, so more drought. and to add insult to injury i increased my gas to 1500 and totally gassed them off hardcore. seems like the digis and my monitor dont like each other. plus i noticed with all the stress and my water, they all started getting bad cal mag deficiency, esp the biggest plants, the bubble hazes.
ive done my best to repair all the damage and they are growing again, but pretty much lost this whole week of growth. i also took off the bottom 2/3 of every branch, being ruthless even with the nicer lower branches,

when it rains it pours eh? Sorr to hear you've had such a pisser of a time getting this space dialed. Seems like dispite the stress issues this system will really preform. Can't wait to fire my newly build mft's up. I may have missed it but do you clone in aero cloner and transplant to the cubes? or do you root in the cubes themselves. If I already asked this or you answered it just give me a ciber kick in the ass...I just got back from 3 weeks at the beach and with all the legal shitstorms in MT I'm a bit distracted...

il root in 1.5 inch rockwool, then re root/preveg in 3 inch rw. then ill add mini cubes to the baskests after they go into the lids,

ps, bigger plants will always feel the the grunt of droughts due to their demand in this system. the 2 plants by the res have both totally tapped in about 2 weeks ago, maybe 3 or 4 for one of them actually. the key is to finish the hurdle race without nicking any for optimally insane results,

Well last night I decided to put together an mft table and give it a try.
The table is 2'x4' and I set it up to hold 6 plants. The pump is a mag7 which will be plumbed inline to keep temps lower. one side of a tee will go to a drip manifold the other will run to the top of the rez for stirring/areation. Popped it in my new grow lab at 1am this morning . 2 1k bulbs-- 1 super hps, 1 mh over a 4x6 screen to be added later. I'm planning on running the ionic 2 part nutes with kool bloom liquid. Heath robinson uses this stuff and I ran 1/2 a run with it last year. The results were impressive before the plants were murdered by bad tubing and I have some full bottles laying around so wtf.
DMT do you think this will work or should I reduce the plant #'s on the table? I am building an identical table for a buddy with ms and want to dial this in before setting his up for him. The ultra light materials and lack of media are big pluses for someone in a wheel chair with limited strength. His grow space is pretty small so the table is sized to fit a wheel chair between the walls and table. The table was so small I only used 2 legs and a 1x2 spacer screwed to the bottom of the table on the end that sits on the rez his will have 3 legs for added stability.
