Will thse yield a pound? Need help with disease.

Temp varies. I have a cooltube so it never gets too high. But at night it gets quite cold here like 5 degrees celsius.

Not sure about the rest. Will take a ph reading tomorrow.

5 C .... in the room or outside temp? 5 is too cold for the girls !

you need to know the temps in your room with the lights on and lights off. get a thermometer that records high and low. if your plants are at 5 C at any time during the day you have a problem you need to fix NOW. i work in F so it is hard for me to run the math in my head but it sounds like you are about 10 or more degrees C to cold. that would not only be hard on the plants but it will slow down the micro herd a lot if you are in soil. night (lights off) temps are just as important as day temps.

wait until some guys who actually think in C chime in, they will give you solid numbers

Hi there Soilmaster!
I must say that the title of the thread put me off a little bit...You wanna yield 1pound but you seem to be a bit lost when comes to temps, humidity, air circulation, pot size, vegging time, genetics and many other essential details when comes to harvest one pound of PROPER weed.
Please don´t take me wrong because i wish you all the best and i believe that in a near future you will be yielding that 1pound or even more but for the time being i think you need to take on board all the info that the fellow Icmagers left you in here.
Btw your plants don´t look bad but don´t look too good :(
I would start by getting a thermometer/hygrometer in order to check temps and humidity.
After having those near the ideal values i would start checking all the other variables and making the needed corrections.

Hey dudes. :tiphat:

Maybe I shouldn't have bothered with the cooltube. I got it because summer here gets like 40+ degrees. If I had the money I'd get a normal reflector for winter. I guess that would help with the temps.

I know I could hook up an air conditioner. But I can't do that because it costs to much to buy and power use. Also my sheds power is only 4.5kA.

Wish I had the money to set up a wicked arse grow room. With Air con, CO2, the whole lot. But I don't have the money now so that's something I'll have to work on I guess. Oh well I can always dream.

You want your temps around 70 degrees and humidity around 45% for flowering. Go out and buy a cheap gauge (I got one from home improvement store for $8).

If your temp is below 60 get rid of the cool tube and use fans to regulate heat and air circulation. If you humidity is below 40-45% add a bowl or bucket of water to the room.

edit: Upon second look at your pics, ventilation could be your biggest problem...

Really? What's wrong with it?

If you really don´t have any money to spend at this time at least give your plants a good trim in order to get better air circulation and light penetration.

dude do not listen to what he just said about that trim.... do not do that!! i repeat, do not do that... Each fan leaf is a power source, think of them as a green solar panel. each leaf is powering the growth from the node it is connected to.

The best thing you could do if it is a ventilation issue since this is a grow on the cheap is get a huge fan and make it possible for a small crack or something like that, so fresh air can get in. The reason being is that all green plants, cannabis included, respirate oxygen. So you are basically smothering you babies if you have zero ventilation

If the leaves are just stuck under other leaves without being able of doing their solar panel function they will just end up building up high humidity and plenty of undesired moist in the inner and darker parts of the plant.
I´ve been using many different training methods and techniques and they all have positives and negatives:)
This said i respect your opinion even if you don´t seem to respect mine that much:comfort:

guess some1 missed where duder said theres black spots on the silver whitish ereas if this is indeed the case you'll see the thrips on the leaves thier very very small like.
as for trimming the plants lowers i do it all the time
end of wk 1 flower i remove some
end of wk 2 flower i remove some more
by end of wk 3 i have all desired trimming of the lowers done

when done like i do it you'll wind up with something like this

plant above ran 68 days 12-12 yield was 130 grams dry from 2 gal soil.

total harvest from 7 plants in 2 gal bags was 530 gram dry under 1 k horti bulb Fox Farm Ocean Forrest soil pure blend pro grow in veg PBP bloom n dahs of powdered koolbloom heren there.

so i know trimming the lowers wont hurt anything because instead of energy being put into pop corn nugs. energy is reverted into whats left hence huge nuggage good heavy yields.

Maybe he should have called himself 'SoilNewb that doesnt understand the basics and repeatedly doesnt listen properly to good advice given to them by senior members'

Try understanding the fundamentals before you even mention 1lb Soil"Master" lol.. Its hard to tell cos the pics are so bad but id be happy with a zip and a half off any of those plants. Add to that you have infestations of thrips and possibly mites, as well as 5 degrees celsius temps (LOL) maybe 1 zip max MIGHT be achievable, if they even live to see harvest time. At temps around 5 degrees your RH% will be thru the roof and it will only be a matter of time before you get PM and its all over. Raise the temps immediately!! I mean... did it even occur to you that 5 degrees celsius is a ridiculous temp for your plants to be in? You mentioned that you had "read all the grow books" but yet you dont have a grasp on the key fundamentals such as temps?? Did you even think about removing your cool tube to raise the temps when its not hot outside?.. (eg: any season except summertime) Are you even capable of thinking for yourself? These are all questions u need to consider..

Not to say u cant hit 1lb one day but u have a LOOOOOOOOOOONG way to go before you even arrive close to this.

What u need to do is spend hours reading all the informative stickies/threads on here but judging from your complete lack of common sense when u post on here i wonder if this is even a possibility..

If nothing more thanks for making me laugh at your level of newbness / stupidity LOL!!

Just my opinion, flame away...

Yeah I just looked up 5 celsius, its about 40 fahrenheit. You'll want to stay around 21-24 celsius soilmaster.
