How much would you pay for a clone?

. . . since i can get seeds from another guy and get good smoke as well from my own.
and its starting to have to be that way since a friend of mine had to stop growing because of legal stuff he had to deal with and wanted nothing going on around him for the mean time. it will all take time , but e will be growing again soon, hes sorta "getting his house in order" if you.
but all of that is to say, hes copped supposed quality from trusted sales ppl before and for teh first time hes gotten a bad deal, not only that but the last couple times hes bought from others and the dealers were either just stupid or unknowledgable about what they had. very disappointing and sad for him.
we can grow our own, or atleast i can and normally when things are like that i take a "purchasing hiatus" and just start growing again myself.
growing is fun but sometimes you either have to or want to take a break and when you can get a nice fat 20 it sorta eases to pain from not having a grow going, but when things are this bad then its just time to fire up the old cab and get things crackin.
you may be right on the other hand though, to have to go through all of this just really isnt worth it in the long run

ok folks ima have to close this thread off here. the dude got back to me and wanted 25 per cut , 10 for me since its .. . well me. but the communication thing/gap is to much, the couple of cats that were waiting have taken cuts of what they had and ive asked a friend of mine to pop some arizona beans he has, and i got tired of the non communication as well.
but all in all i would think that 25 is a good price for a cut of something descent 5 - 10 for something regular like arizona.
my boy grew those seeds out a while back and it was amazing, so i said hell why not,

Well,if getting clones is difficult/expensive you can order seeds.
i would pay 1k for a clone of Cookies right now...but i might end up getting it for free! its lineage is cherry pie (GDPxDurbanxTahoeOGkush) backcrossed to Fire OG kush....

i would shovel over about a hundo for maybe some triangle, some other stuff too, but yeah i usually just get clones for free unless I see what i want is for sale ill snatch it up. paid 30 bucks for a 20 inch uk cheese in a 2 gallon that was huge and healthy, i gave her to a friend,

you have to remember that when your selling someone a clone you are giving them a gift that keeps on giving especially if it is a super dank clone. i paid like 75 bucks a clone for some really fucking dank og. i thought of it as buying a pack of seeds for the same price, i just didn't have to do the work of obtaining these hard to obtain seeds and also i didn't have the do the work of phenoing it out. but anyways, i mother the clone out and like i said it's a gift that keeps on giving.

Hot damn 100 bucks or even a grand for a clone. I do understand that if you get that one pheno type of that one strain can be worth a lot to a person that desires those traits. But in Holland clones go for as little as a euro, (most of the time silver haze, nlx or power plant)..
i hear what most ppl are saying but for me most of the strains ive had have been mainstream, meaning that they came from seed.
so i guess im lucky in that arena of things, havent had a strain that ive not been able to find at someones seed bank or something

basically paying for exclusive elite strains....regular strains like the ones you mentioned only go for 5-10 bucks....the only reason a clone would sell for 1k is because its an underground strain not available from seed by any breeder...and the finished product sells for more than any other strain regardless of quality...
even a shitty batch of "cookies" would still fetch a good price around here simply based on name brand.....good ones are going for top dollar.....i could re-coop the 1k real quick...

paid 48 bucks today for (3) sour diesel and (3) white widow clones ........$8 bucks each

seriously. everyone i know is looking for a dub or less, explain to them that they might as well buy and 1/8th for 50 and they look at you like youve got two heads, suggest they should buy and ounce and they wanna fight you for cursing at them.
you guys have it good where you are, NY is very hush-hush, and its even more so given the right enviornment, and no this is not "HALFBAKED" so i wont be playing the "rastas in washington square park" roll, not a snob just cant afford "those " types of risks.
to have those connections, would make it worth the 1k for a clone because you'd be assured to make your loot back and then some; THEN i would pay that much for a clone but if you know you dont have the means to make it back then its gonna be for naught "water water everywhere and not a drop to drink" ya know?

Hahahahahhaaaahahaha!!!!!! You got me with this one. u must be ordering from bcbud depot or somethin.... I find a plant from seed thats as good if not better than a 'clone only' Id say one in every 12 seeds I grow. sometimes 2 in one pack(chocolate rain anybody?). I wouldnt pay more than 20 bucks and thats if I know its something that I really really wanted and knew it was legit.

got some clones/cuts for free since im starting a partnership grow, was gonna pay $50 for 10 but the "broker" is tired of the "growers" bullshit, so the broker is gonna get me 5 more for free so all in all ill have 4xKALABRESE and 4xCHEM#4
