Here is my favorite wild flower, it's a pink lady slipper orchid. I hunt them down every spring, last year I must have found about 60.

Well I bet you girls thought I forgot all about this thread I started years ago for Ya...NO WAY..I've just been waiting for the snow to melt so I could see the ground again, and yesterday, it did. Low and behold look what's blooming, crocus of corse. I hope this brightens someones day..the only pic I captured and uploaded..but it should be enough..cheers, DD

just waiting for it to rain here so the wildflowers will come back out,plenty of dogwoods and cherry blossoms out though,will drag the camera out soon...

Went to the Park the other day and took some early spring shots. The last pic is yesterday in the mountains,snow yuck. Flowers good.

Been raining pretty lightly all morning, stopped for a little so I figured I'd take a few pix. This one was the quickest to bloom in my little garden, should be a colorful year.

I always notice this lil guy when I'm outside.

thanks doobie,was good timing on the trip,the entire desert was carpeted with flowers...
