Dubi, I'm genuinely impressed with these plants!

They've been way more vigorous than any I've grown before. Also at 5 weeks from showing pistils, I'm guessing that I've got 7-9 more weeks to wait (based off their description) and that they've got a ton of growing left! :) "The stretch" seems to be over now. At least mostly. :) Smells are definitely coming in now. The shorter/thicker plants have a stronger aroma. I'm noticing some trics coming in on fan leaves too! (again, the short girls) Aroma's are reminiscent of 1990's bags of brick weed I'd score in high school. :) (A GOOD thing! lol) :) Memories.... Some of that stuff would fuck you up! The taller girls are mostly fluffier, thinner leaved, more branched, and more elegant looking.

I've always set my grows up at 50 Wpsf, even when I've used my 400MH. So far these girls are killing my last grows so I'm kinda hoping to see how they'll finish at 50wpf. Even now they have enough weight that I'm happy. :) As long as I can sample their high I'm happy. lol It's free weed that I dont have to buy off someone I wouldn't normally asssociate with. (selling = clients, and clients = risk ;) )

Anyways, :) At the end of the grow I'll rebuild the cab using the 400MH and either rerun these plants, revegged. Or, pop some seeds and see how that goes. :) But it'll take a bit of R&D to squeeze a 400 in a box 61cmx61cmx122cm without overheating it!! :D

I'd like to experience these girls revegging, cloning, and outdoors - if I can find a few good spots. :) I'm at 41 north with a continental climate, btw.

Thanks for the strong plants. Also, thank you all for tuning in and chiming in! :)

Hello inquest :)

Im glad the VB Thai plants remind you the sativas from your young days! If they are not very flowered yet, ill try to get some clones now, sometimes is not easy to re veg mature plants. Best wishes!

I dunno man, These girls look pretty deep in flower.... I hope they reveg. If not, look what I've got anyway! :thank you:
picture.php

 Damn those beens are dark, pretty big, too! I thought I saw some darkness peeking out of one of the bracts, so I pulled a few seeded preflowers. Which btw, are out there all by themselves, just begging to be sampled! :)
picture.php

So... now I've got these empty, resiny, bracts.... I better get rid of the evidence!:jump: Good stuff! I haven't smoked for awhile now so I've not much of a tolerance, so I felt pretty good! :) It was clear headed, no paranoia, relaxing. Smoked about 12 bracts wet. Shit, now I cant wait till it's mature, dry, and in my bowl!

picture.php

This pic really doesn't do this girl justice. She has trics running down the length of her 5 bladed fan leaves, all the way down them! :jump:

There's many more pistils popping out. They haven't grown an inch taller either! I've finally got labels on 'em, too! ;) Now I can also start writing notes about them. :)

Theres really no changes other than that, though.
So, Happy growing!

Greenmind, Astur Jaya's "Nube Roja" is a lebanese line that might have a bit of Pakistani in it. Apparently it's named after red Lebanese hash, nube roja = red cloud. It had/has good potency, a bit of a knock out high, loads of resin, and lots of smell. I found that if I made it through the knock out stage the head high would pretty much vanish and I was left extremely comfortable and able to think pefectly clear. :)

I pulled seeded preflowers from each of the girls over the past few days. All the seed looks pretty mature, though slightly different than each other. Some more mottled, lighter/darker, brown/greyish. So far I've sampled four of the girls, 1, 3, 4, and 6. 1, seemed stronger than the others, so far. Clear headed, and relaxing. 3, Stimulating, had odd thoughts, I bet this one could get overwelming in large doses. :) We'll find out later. Hahaha!! :D 4, is the light green one, very clear headed, didn't notice any body high, nice smoke! 6, similar to #1 but not as strong. Still nice smoke, though. All of this is WAY early I know, but it'll be interesting to see if/how the highs change in the mature flowers.

Hello inquest,

Congrats on your F2 seed harvest :) Im glad to hear you are happy with the early pre flower samples, i hope you enjoy the smoking test after full maturation and correct curing! Best wishes.

Well guys, not too much going on in the box. They've pretty much stopped vertical growth and are just popping out a few new pistils every day. I've learned that as their vertical growth slows so does their water consumption. This put two into an over watered condition, but hey, they'll dry out! ;)

I was able to smoke test the remaining two, #2 & #5. Both of these were just as strong as #1. The quality of high is excellent from all of the girls. All six are potent enough for me, and 3 of them seem pretty strong, even at this young age! All tests were of 12-14 bracts, and wet, right off the plant. Being wet they didn't burn well or taste great but they left a nice grey ash. :)

Dubi, I'm sure that I'll enjoy the mature flowers, though I'll probably have 'em smoked long before they'll get a proper cure! :D As it was, this weekend was the most fun I've had mowing my yard and picking up dog poop! Yup, these girls had me feeling pretty good!

Thanks again for the great genes!

Mmmmm, fresh pistils..... wonder how long this will keep up? :) On one hand, they'll just keep getting bigger the longer they go..... on the other, I'll have to wait longer to sample 'em.... I shoulda put some faster strains in here, too. Haha, live and learn!

picture.php

They're putting on a bit more size. I bet they would be further along in size, had I used richer soil and/or larger pots at transplant....

Not the prettiest leaves I've ever grown.... The burnt and yellow ones that is! Maybe a more complete and richer soil mix next round....

Speaking of leaves yellowing out and what not, I've got 3 "tall" girls and 3 "short" girls. The short girls are showing much more leaf drop than the others. And, since I want to reveg most of these girls, I decided to grab one of the "shorties" for reveg before all their leaves fell off. All of the shorties have similar structure and I would like to see how they'd do in a larger pot with more light. :) So, #5 got the chop. :) Here she is "sans buds".
picture.php

I tried to leave as many fans on as I could, hoping that they'll power the reveg process better than just some puny lower buds. :) Made for some interesting trimming....

13 weeks and counting. :) I've had a bit of a cold snap lately and I'm not sure if 66F temps or just "end of life" changes to the plants have caused a little bit of coloring to show on a few girls. Either way it's a nice little surprise. :) This is #4, the lightest green girl. Really digging the gold n red colors she's throwing. She also seemed to have the clearest high when I sampled the preflowers a while ago.
picture.php

Here is #5, which I'm trying to reveg. I hope she makes it, I would love to see her colors in November!

Plants 1 & 6 have been pushing out all kinds of new pistils, too.

These two seem like the high yielders of the bunch.

Here's a vid of my dream garden.... basically zero maintainance. :D

Beautiful pics inquest :) Lovely colors on your sativas.

Looking at your last pic seems she's now aprox about mid flowering. Try to maximize light intensity and feeding for best yield! Best wishes and thanks for your updates.

That's plant #5 under my old fishtank lights. The color is a bit off but it's the closest I can get with out an editor program....

Here you can see #5 is revegging nicely!!!! :D :D

Well, that's it for the pretty pics I'm afraid. Sooooo, week fourteen and fifteen we saw some pretty hot temps outside (90's F) so I thought it'd be a good idea to try out an A/C unit I've had laying around. I set it up blowing into the box, trying to keep the temps down to maybe coax out some more color and also to keep the odor down. I let it do it's thing for about four days while I hung with friends in town for the week. Mostly I just succeeded in wind burning all the leaves off plants 2, 3, and 4. Doh!! Since those girls weren't pushing out pistils like #'s 1 and 6, I sampled 'em and liked what I got. :D So, I really liked 3 and 4 and decided to pull 'em now and see if they would reveg as well. :)

Here she is, #4 that is. Poor girl...

Lovely strings of flowers. :)

So, at the moment, I'm controlling the temps by diverting most of the air from the central AC unit into my plant room. (The way I should have done it to start with!) ;) Working out much better! Plants 1 and 6 are doing good and I'll get some pics of them up in a day or two. #1 is developing some nice dense nugs and has a great structure! So long as I dont do something retarded again she'll end up just beautiful! Not that she isnt already! lol I'm definitely gonna pull her before she starts lookin too old, though. I really hope she'll reveg!! I'd like to give her the whole box and a scrog net, just to see what she can do. :D

She's the x-mas tree pheno. Nice solid nugs, and that's under CFL's. ;) Not huge, but I'm sure that's from my nutrient profile/schedule. I would say I missed some key moments where I should have given them a little food.

Here's the top bud, as you can see she's 29 inches/74cm tall including the planter.

Great inquest!

To help the plant to reveg, remove all the old flowers/budsites, leave just the new revegging branches and start a strong N fertilizer feeding.

Im glad to see you are enjoying there! ;)

Between these and my GreenHaze x Thai I should be able to find some scary potent, electric lettuce! Since these are fem seeds I'll either hit some of 'em with CS or breed them straight away with the GHxT.....

I dunno, time will tell....

Well.... really only plant #1 and #6 are still going. Both are looking pretty close but still could use a week or two, or three.... So far I'm having 100% reveg success, so I'll let these girls go for a while.

A while back I took a pic of the wispiest plant (#6). Here's a shot of her now next to the old pic.

picture.php
picture.php

Still not a super dense hybrid nug but she's put on quite a bit of size since week 8.

This is the two remaining top buds. #1, is really quite dense. I'd love to see this girl full grown.... #1 on left, #6 on right.

picture.php

Here's a shot of #4 and a new shot of #5, revegging.

picture.php
picture.php

#5's coming along nicely. #4's just peaking out some new veg growth. As for now,the plan is to reveg #'s 1,4, & 5. I'd like to give #1 the full box wih a scrog net. #4 and 5 I'd like to veg a bit then go 12/12, 1.5 to 2 months prior to summer equinox, then put 'em outside to finish under the sun. And to color up under the cool temps! ;)

So.... if you started counting from date of flower, #'s 2, 3, & 4 were chopped at 12wks. And all are a good bit stronger than #5 (10 wks?). Of the four ladies sampled, #4 wins hands down for high. She's a fair amount stronger than her sisters so far, nothing insane, but definitely noticeable! Saturday saw 5 hits and my ipod put a ridiculous perma-grin on my face and a pretty good giggle fit about how wrecked I was. Nothing for body, just a bit of pressure behind my eyes untill the very end where I just felt comfortable. It comes on a little slow at first. The first five minutes I keep looking for the signs. Is it me or are my ears more sensitive?....hmmm... Five to ten, Yup, this shit's working! After about ten minutes I generally start wishing I was at the IMAX waching something over the top theatrical. :)
