Black Grape Kush...although it is now released in seed form...the original clone is definitely a top hoarded strain...the genetics are (Grape Romulan [clone only] X BlackBerry Kush [clone only])...dank grape flavor and amazing trich coverage

I have some grom crosses a friend did and Ive seen them grown out a few times and the grom comes thru rather nicely...

The original clone is still very guarded by a small group of growers in south orange county, These medical growers who say its their bread winner although they say that dispensaries tend to change the name of their product to whatever is hyped strain at the time, cause the Black Grape Kush is still unknown. It is Grape Romulan backcrossed 3 times with a Federation Romulan male then crossed with BlackBerry Kush clone.The creator of the strain released it in seed form because of the demand he was getting and because he wanted to unlock the potential of the both Grape Romulan and Blackbery Kush. I had a chance to meet him and his growing/breeding partner at a Canna Expo in LA a couple of months ago. A couple of dispensaries I have been to had their seeds. The seed company is Holistic Union Seeds. I dont know if can put this hear but after getting a couple of pms of how to contact him i will post his email holisticunionseeds@gmail.

BBK has the best and smell and crystal production of any cannabis I have ever grown. Her high and growth pattern were very disappointing, but if the potency got turned up from the Rom; I can understand that being some great stuff.

I would find it hard to believe that it is running rampant across the east if it is S. OC hoarded. Sounds great though and would love to see some pix.

Dude this is the hoarded strain, not most over exposed strain thread. It is my understanding that every D in CA has the Plat. and any grower who wants it can get cuts (or at least it is crazy avail to my friends).

bgk been around and its great but not kushy at def not in nug appeal from all from the samples i got 2 its mostly romx grom dom no bb flavor.... but tric covered and potent... it was one of those that came and gone and came and gone but never in bulk just stoneys headie and to selct ppl ,,but it was one i got a .5 stashed for the special dub.... def nice smoke and better then bb,,, i finally smoked one of pur bb and it is a cocktease and a hal like a 1000hoe who aint fukin...

+1 on this. I'm not sure which headband cut I have, but if you've been to harborside and bought the Original Headband, that's the cut I have. My friends have been holding this cut for over 8-9 years.

It took three years to get it from a close friend. I don't cash crop it though, because it's so finicky. The herb is straight fire. About to put one or two into flower in the next crop, so I'll finally have some pictures and samples to show to some friends. To see what they think about it.

It's ridiculously weak stemmed, very finicky, hates heat, nice internodal spacing, very little leaf, rock hard nuggets, and a ridiculous smell, taste, and high.

my cut came straight from the man

i'm pretty sure Harbourside hasnt had this cut, it's still damn scarce and for the most part 99% uncirculated. you may have the 707 cut which is damn nice but not the same

I didn't get the clone from Harborside. We vend our Headband to them. So in the display case. There is Original Headband and that is the herb we have vended to them.

This cut came from up north somewhere. The people my friends got it from had been growing it for a while before that. I've never given it out to anyone. Gave a cut to KrunchBubble but it died on him.

I'm thinking about starting to pass it out to my friends as I don't really care to cash crop it. I've already given it to one friend, but it's been nothing but a pain in his garden.

If you have any pics I'd love to see it. I can take a pic of mine in Veg if you like.

The 707 is nothing like this one. It's all sour and not funky like this one at all. My friends had it. I called it wasteband. I'd rather grow sour all day.

Can you give me some backstory on what exactly makes Loompa's Headband...Loompas Headband?

Thats where we got this cut. She is from a Harem collection that an old guy keeps up there. Half the time he calls it Sour Diesel, but its not. It tastes like a sweet spicy lemon cookie. It smells better than the finest tea or spice. I adore this weed. The high is not only very strong, but the quality of the high is unsurpassed in my opinion.

I did about 60 crosses this winter. Most were Hazes and Sativas. I did cross some Hazes and Maui, Panama, and a few others to the Headband as well. Those are sure to be good seeds.

We also run LA Confidential, OG Kush, Chemdog 91,Chemdog4, and Orange Kush.

Heres another one that people absolutely loved. It came from Honeydew as well. Im not growing any at the moment, because the high is a bit heavy for me. Puts me to sleep. Great lemon grape flavor. Very strong weed.

This plant came from Humboldt. There are no known specimans left. My fault. It was a special Orange Kush/Salmon Creek Big Bud pheno. We hoarded it, and refused to share it. We had a problem and I lost it. Its gone.
