86' choc thai........

anybody have any info on this strain?i got some beans from my dads friend and hes back crossed it a couple times to make it a lil more useable for indoors. AND PLEASE NO STUPID ANSWERS! JUST LOOKIN FOR INFO!

If it's chocolate thai, then it's a lowland thai heritage strain. Never smoked or grown it personally, but it was one of DJ Short's original P1s. His description for Cocoa Kush says it's "structure and effects" are similar to chocolate thai. My wife spent some time in Thailand, all the bags she got in Bangkok looked like pencil shavings, smelled like cocoa/tobacco, and she described the high as "cerebral and dreamy, not at all stoney, unlike anything I've smoked in the States". That's all I've got, hope it helps.

I wish my dad had a friend who had some 86' Chocolate Thai that he had made a little more manageable! Probably will make most stuff out there seem weak.

it is no joke,heres the story:ive been smokin with him for years now and he never told me that he had that strain,well years down the road one day we were smokin and he mention it to me, i thought he was lieing.we he went back to his car and came back with a fat sac of dried product of the choc thai and also seed. he said he was passing it down the line hes had his fun with her.I WAS SPEECHLESS.

FLORALFACTION thank you the dicription is right on.the high is crazy VERY LUCID AND DREAMY and it lasts for hours apon hours. i smoke alot of ogs and this stuff cut right through any of them.

Nice job on starting a thread for this, Chocolate Thai is something special that was nearly lost to time. Not enough people have smoked it I think. I can't wait to see what these do.

Here's my choc thai, real thai stick 86, story. Found one seed in an ounce I purchased back then. It was and still is some of the best weed I have ever smoked, and we are talking over 40 years of ganja. Purchased a 400 watt MH lamp and started a one seed one plant grow in potting soil. The plant grew to over 5 foot tall and filled up my closet. Flowered it and it turned hermi on me. It is still the largest plant I have ever grown, but the pure landrace strains tend to do that. I would love to still have and smoke that wonderful ganja. When you have people state: I'm not use to smoking weed this strong, you know you have a winner. Good luck and would love to see photos grow report on this blast from the past.
