I hate to be the person who has the large nuts to tell you what I think about anyone Welding after smoking in the work place is fucking stupid and disrespectful towards making products that shouldn't have some half ass baked person Welding while on his 8 or 10 hour shift.

I respect many of us have toked before, while on lunch break and after work but it also depends on your job and the respect you have for your workmanship and safety of the products your building and I certainly wouldn't want to have some half ass person welding a product I'm buying and bring home or have Installed when theirs a slight chance your work has been comprimised because of your thinking process is fucked because you were baked while doing your job.

Welding Isn't making phone calls or popping pizza into or out of a 600 degree oven, lets get real here their are some jobs we all know as sensible people smoking should be left after hours for safety reasons...

I have some experience welding when I worked at a refinery - (ESW), (FCAW), (SMAW) (MIG) & (TIG) Welding and smoking is a NONO when your dealing with high pressure tanks and sparks and flames etc...

I hope this thread is just as funny when you come back with a complete skeleton of your hand with your flesh burned to the bone from being stoned and burning your hand off, For me this thread when bragging about being stoned as a welder only makes me wonder how responceable people who smoke are smoking for the right reasons.

When I worked in radio, I was blazed all of the time. Then again, I was quite a bit younger and didnt give a whole hell of a shit. Nowdays, I like to treat it as my 'after work/before bed' treat. (For my regular job) On my 'fun jobs' that I get to do once or twice a month, I am thoroughly vaped. (And people tend to like to come out and hang with me once they have gone several rounds too)

Sorry to all offended, but this thread was made for folks who puff down before work. If your not comfortable with it, I'm sure there's plenty of "I cant smoke before work" threads spread across the interwebs. As I said, I'll be here in the mornings smoking cannabis.

Think Green I seen peeps smoking in their rides while on a 15 minute break and go back working in area's were they would pour steel and a worker would hold a long rod with a cup at the end skimming the Impurities off the top of the liquid steel before it was dumped to make I Beams and that guy use to smoke and lucky for him he never fell down into the molds the orange liquid steel would get dumped into because he would have died and turn to ashes, So I might have come on a bit strong but I just believe that depending on a persons job smoking should be left out of any work place that Safety is Job #1.

I totally understand that roach. I used to build electric arc furnaces...you know the big piece of equip that melts all the steel but presently i am in a position where im not doing structural welding or high pressure or any other dangerous types of work that keep me from my morning cannabis. But I will say, if you ever have a stainless steel sink leak on your boots...it might have been a bho morning.

Personally I find that I'm more patient and able to think deeper about situations after smoking. I just need to keep a to-do list so I don't forget what I'm doing and get side-tracked talking about strange tangents. A little visine and no one is the wiser.

Maybe we can forgive the emergency responce teams, law enforecement who have a hostage or children held up in a bronx apartment with a shotgun while leo smokes a joint, or a fire truck just toking a bong while your parents house is set a blaze, we all have a right to smoke while at work right? black is black & white is white, depending on the job safety is an Issue end of story!!

after all while someone you know who needs to be rushed to the hospital is being worked on by a paramedic after they had a stroke but his timming is off because he just got done smoking some hash & a bowl... tell that to the familia that now has a padre who is laying in the hospital passed away because the emergency drivers lack of real time responce was off due to being high!!!!!!!!

I smoke before, during, and after work. Sometimes I get confused issuing tickets if I smoke too much but my partner is always quick to cover me. When I run out we just roll by the high schools and bust kids for their stash. I love being a cop sometimes.

it depends i used to work some real shit jobs and there i would always show up high as fuck.
like working as a postman, heavy 12 hour shifts ... i would blaze my sensi star all the time. god this job sucked so hard!

or a really shitty job in a gardening center i would always show up high. it was basically acting busy for 8 hours while there aint shit to do.

nowadays i work in an office back to back with my boss and a coworker so no pre-work blazing for me anymore.

Everyone that smokes before work understands that there are people like you out there that are so against it, a few people have even told you they can see your side but please take your point of view to a more appropriate place - as this thread is made for people who DO smoke before work.

I used to smoke every morning before id bike to work as a butcher, was great fun, made boning beasts that much more fun.

That was a hoot, have a toke with the boss later in day when its all outfront serve work .

I don't know if I would compare getting high before work with getting drunk. One impairs much more than the other. I once got a haircut from a lady who I later found out had been drinking and it was the worse haircut of my life. I guarantee if she had been smoking instead it would have been a great haircut, just would have taken 2 hours to complete.
