50 is fair, but the question is, is it worth the risk for small money? I will not risk my liberty for 50 bucks, but I did last century and survived, so.....it can be done.

$50 is fair. Market dictates of course. Could even go higher if it's good trim and you're in the right part of the country. . .

Years ago a friend of mine had begun a new job that everyone smoked at but had little weed. He really wanted to score some points and be the good guy but I was just growing for myself and had little extra. I did have a big garbage bag of dried purple fan leaves from my blue satellite. I smashed them into a purple powder and removed the bigs stems.
I just gave it to him and said see if the blunt smokers like this.
Needless to say he made lots of blunt smoking friends that week.
People who normally smoked 100 o's of schwaggy mexican were crapping their pants over 200 o's of smashed up fans. He was willing to split the 800 some bucks he got for them but I felt he had earned it.

Money, the root of all evil, give that shit away for free.
Well gee Danski, why draw the line at trim? Why not give away all your weed for free too, and work for free as well, to avoid getting any of that "evil" money.

After I've made all the hash and butter I want personally, there is still a significant amount of trim left, which I usually gift out to people, in this case it's the friend of an associates mother who wants to make some butter, being that she is two people removed from anyone I know personally, she can cough up a reasonable amount of $ for it, and be happy to even have the option to get trim in a non med state in the first place.

i think it's a great question that leads to some eye opening insight. first, a lot of people want to get high and can't afford top end bud. brick weed sometimes isn't available or more often from this time of the year on till brickweed totally dries up it gets to where you can't get any higher than the first bowl does you. i love trimmings. it's affordable. trimmings (properly cleaned of trash) are "cleaned weight". it takes two or more eggs of shitbrick to provide the same quantity as one egg trim. the taste, high and potency are far better for the money than what an average working guy's budget allows for in the bud market. finally, $50 per egg comes out to $800/lb. bell peppers are around $3/lb. you see people working all day at a farmer's market to get less than $5/lb for most of their hard earned money. incredible how jaded our perspectives can get. the trim is a necessary byproduct that has tremendous value. and i'm the idiit.
