It is sad, considering that it only takes 5 min on the NORML website and you don't even have to write anything.

Thats why i took the time to write this thread. I never knew how easy NORML made it till i looked at the site. For lazy stoners this is perfect, even if the same government officials read the same message over and over

The one thing i really like about the NORML site though is that they really make marijuana activism an easy thing! You want to write a letter to your governor? No problem. Want to find out about current laws and propositions, once again no problem.

All in all the main reason for this is to help find people outside of already established medical communities to try and open up our state advisers eye's. After all the are representing us, we should atleast tell them whats on our mind.

This is the major problem we face living in America. The so-called seperation of church-state is actually more a mutalism for two parasites to work with each other(THIS IS MY OPINION).
Religion is not a bad thing, but when it's used to scare and manipulate people there is a problem! The problem is that nowadays people just pass on whatever they hear, they don't reasearch anything and than prove themselves by using religion& opinions instead of factual based arguments! If the governement says marijuana is deadly, most Americans will have no problem agreeing.

Too many people are scared of the government when they should be scared of us! They create a War on Drugs and than profit off it, just selling it back to the community. For example, they take away medical marijuana and all of a sudden pharma companies can gretly prosper, instead of one medicine that could help many different problems, they synthetically, create one pill to cure one thing. Many of you will say, "No, our government would never do this to us!". In reality their keeping us farther down then you imagine.

The Dr.'s are as crooked as they come aswell as they are working for the Gov. aswell not wanting to go against their paycheck I guess and prescibing the pot in a pill bullshit. Now don't get me wrong for some ppl this pill works and thats great. It's just not the substitute ppl are looking for. Plus it's not bring the euphoria ppl are also looking for. I do believe it's this euphoria that freaks the Dr.'s out... They think your a no mind hippy that just can't function should you try and pursue this lol.. They don't see bud as having any other properties which is unfortunate . This is the world we live in and even if we were to bring the definititive proof they still wouldn't believe. In the US your lucky because you have the College of Phy's. behind you now you just need the feds which I must admit seems very strange. I feel it's this very same lies they are using that will bring them down in the end. They are playing right into the new paradigm and setting themselves up for failure.

Their insane positions are actually drawing the sanity into this issue like a huge vacuum cleaner.

Way I see it, the polls evidence the public majority is on our side.

A large portion of this majority does not live our lifestyle.

Many have no real thoughts on the matter either way because it's not something they think about or are exposed to while going on about their days.

So now it starts popping up a little more mainstream.

And these "neutrals" start becoming exposed to more of the happenings

and the positions that are being taken by the legislators.

Need to develop opinion naturally develops due to exposure

And the "sane" base starts going WTF?

The members of the "neutral but open minded medical community" groups.

If they are "sane" enough to look at this with an open mind already, then ...

So let's share the insanity with the sane and let them decide who ends up in the asylum.

And pray that their insanity continues.

one personal visit represents 1000 people

Write letters! For most people, 200 letters would be the majority of their district. It might sound like a lot, but I'm sure there are 199 other people that support it in your district.

Seriously even if people just used NORML to write the emails, they make this extremely stoner friendly! I wish we could sticky NORML issues page for people to see the benefits of using NORML to write the officials.

We may all be in different state but i think they main thing we should strive is the reconditioning of the existing scheduling program. Why is MMJ not Schedule II, and how can individual states change it, but the federal government won't.

Im going to put it in my profile. Also i just got letters back from some of the representatives i sent to. i really hate these Floridians officials, one of the representatives sent me back a letter than didn't even relate to my question. Florida's still to conservative to even accept the idea. How sad
