Guerilla Grow in the Canadian Wilderness 2011

Hey wutsup guys the weathers getting warmer and im just getting started on outdoor. I got a net deer fence setup that encompases an area of about 10 x 15, and is 6 feet high, we'll call it "spot 1" haha.

For soil i have purchesed a few bales of BM1 (120 gallons of soil total in 4 compressed bales), and will be adding extra perlite which is also already purchased. Hopefully i can get it back into the woods next weekend, dont feel like hauling that shit thru the snow now

For pots i will be transplanting the seedlings into half gallon growbags and when they become rootbound transplanting them into 5 or 10 gallon growbags.

Havent decided on the number of plots or the amount of plants yet, we'll see how ambitious im feeling.

Helicopters are few and far between, and the risk of rippers/someone walkin up on the plot is extremely low. This shits deep deep in the canadian jungle, ATV access only.

If i forgot to mention anythin let me kno. The camera had a hard time picking up the fence (the human eye can pick it out only slightly better, shit blends right in). but check it out and youll get a good idea about the area im workin with.

looks like a nice spot. why not dig holes? probably wouldn't need to water as often. what strains are you growing? I'll be watching this thread, keep us updated

^^^ The halfgallon growbags the seedling go into will stay above ground but the 5 or 10 gallon growbags they get transplanted into will be put in the ground. In order to prevent root competition with the surronding vegitation.

strains will be Sour 60 crosses... Sour 60 crossed with regular genetics. Im hoping some plants decide to auto while others finish in fall. Also prolly gunna put a order in to the bou for some early finishing reg. strains, and i have quite a few other varitys of regular strains kicking around the house i might pop

If 2011 is like the 2010 season i shouldnt need to water at all, it rained twice a week last season like clockwork, so fingers crossed it does the same this year!

i am also going to be watching this one.... only about 6 more weeks left. last year i got away with putting my lil fellers out 2 weeks before may 24. i used the same net last year. worked nice.

might be blueberry bushes, but im not sure. they will green up and become verrry dense. Every stick you see coming up outta the ground will get leaves on it (Also there covered in some serious thorns, gunna be a real hassle trying not to rip the bales of soil while walking em in). It becomes very dense and lush, excellent cover!

Last year plants went out June 1st, same plans for this year unless the weather becomes unseasonably warm. Typically got to Sept. 15 - Oct. 1 before a killing frost.

yeah im in ontario so we had really warm weather about the first week into may, but i didnt trust it so i waited but it kept good so i put them out 2 weeks early... so far this year seems really nice to.... but last year i had them all a good 1-2 feet when they first went out...
