Thanks Hazy I was just asking Head what amount I would need to add to equal the amount of epsom salt he uses to the 6ml Micro 10ml Bloom mix which I've dropped to 5ml Micro 7.5ml Bloom so think that amount you said will go with the Head Formula or Rez Recipe cuz I'm using a mix of the two since I'm doing the Kool Bloom like Rez but Head figured out the mix for me and I'm trying to get my coco nutes down with CES and so far so good except this thread... I'll post a new pic cuz after I hit her with the Plant Amp and Mag Amped she pushed out a few leaves and they look good with no deficiency but I flushed her today just to be safe in case there was any build up goin on but I'll add it to the nutrient schedule I have going....

thats what I did

I see, yea Head said drop the PH and said my new mix sounds like a winner so we'll see. The others seem to be loving it and it's looking like my DJ Short Blueberry cuts like it too and are starting to green up now with less P and K and the lower PH...

Coco has a natural pH of around 7.0. It is going to try to buffer anything you put in it up, or down, to try to get to that 7.0 pH. If you start low, and 5.5 is where I start too, the pH of the nutes is going to slowly rise as they sit in the coco. The advantage to this is that you then have a spectrum of pH that the roots are exposed to, thereby making more nutrients available to the plant.

Thanks for the explanation, Hazy!

As for the rest of this - Humbug!!! lol I'll stick with my Lucas formula. Ya know, if you want to simplify things, CNS17 is darn good stuff, and it's truly just one part. I've had CNS17 work kick-ass in veg, but never got very good results in bloom. I finally went back to AN & Lucas - if it works, don't fix it!
