Even if you eat ashes, it's no big deal. But dugouts are infamous for resin blow. Yuk.
I keep my OH very clean. I hate resin.
Forgot to mention that I carry a few jumbo paperclips in my bag, too. Nothing worse than a clogged pipe when you're away from home.

Do they still make the solid brass pinch-hitter with heat-sink milling? I thought the cig was an improvement but it's hard to mimic puffing a cig with dank. Now I like the old brass, call it nostalgic.
The last, brass hitter I owned got dropped out the car window when a chick dumped the ash. I wished she'd eaten one of those infamous resin "turds" before she lost my hitter.
This is funny like a crutch but I used to laugh when peeps got the resin turd in their mouth. They couldn't talk because it tastes so bad. More than not, peeps would just hang their tongue in disgust until they had something to wipe it away. Buzz kill fer sure, if only theirs.

Have a friend who swears by his. Makes his hour and a half each way daily commute way better. He always jokes about it pooping on him. I for one can't stand that shit, especially when it comes back hot and burns your gums a little. Not worth the single hit, especially with paraphanelia laws around these parts of the world. Joints, joints, joints.

Thanks, JD. I like the glass. IMO, they ought to make each one with fluted ID. That might give more tokes between cleaning/pooping. I'd hate to get a poopy that darn big.

my dugout is about 24 yrs old has the brass bat ,i replaced that with another 1 the cutting edge wears out after a while

if you have a brass bat that you really love, a few minutes with the dremel should re-surface the cutting edge. just like with grinding any sort of metal, do it in stages. start coarse and end up with a fine polish.
I used to use a pocket knife to resharpen the tip. Dropping it on concrete, rock etc always landed on the edge end, lol.
