Let me know what you think of the fan, I should have my new fan arriving tomorrow, its a two-speed clip-on from "Holmes" I hope it works better than the no-name china knockoffs I had before :)

Fer sher

Your Canopy is looking good bro, yeah a bit late for a growth inhibitor. I use the Crush tecnique to stop verticle stretch, if i have issues. Dont like what i read about paclobutrizol(sp?) so i wouldnt use Phosphoload or Bushmaster myself, but i believe they work.
The more ScrOG's you get under your belt the better you'll get at it, & the easier you'll find training for shape etc.
Nice work on the first round man! k+

Looking good! :tiphat:

This thread has inspired me to break out my 400 & tent and start up a indoor grow again. Just picked up 4 clones & i'm pumped to be growing indoors again.

I took those first pictures right as I was watering them so they were a bit droopy. I just took a couple more pics and you can see how much they are shooting up at the light now.

Day 33: I gave them a EWC/Kelp tea last night. The front two plants, specifically the right one have shown they are more sativa dominant than the back ones. The back right is the shortest plant, but also has the thickest nugs and crystals.

Very nice grow you have going on trick, the girls look nice and healthy. I'm really suprised your able to keep the temps down with the s&p 100x. I'm actually going to be using a Dr90 myself with a 400w and i've been racking my brain trying to decide what size fan to go with. I was kind of set on a 6" elicent 309cfm but I may go with the Td-150 since it may be a little more quiet. Noise is a concern but as long as it's contained within the room and not heard through the walls i'll be good. Btw do you vent outside of your growroom?

Anyways it's funny that I just about bought a pack of Iced grapefruit for this run but decided to go with just the regular grapefruit since i'm more of a sativa guy.

Can't wait to see these girls finish up!:rasta:

My front two plants seem to be leaning a lot towards grapefruit, and all I can say is be careful of the stretch! I flowered them at about 8 inches, and now they are 30 inches tall.

My tent is in my closet and the vent goes outside the closet into my bedroom.

I think the 309 CFM fan would definitely be overkill, I think the TD-150x would be perfect for a 400watt. With the 100x If the ambient temp in my bedroom gets too high such as when I had the door closed and the heater would turn on (Before I blocked off the vent in the room) the tent would be into the low 80's. But as long as I keep the ambient temp in the bedroom around 70 there is no problem with heat at all.

Yea figured i'd rather go with to much airflow then not enough, since i'd just have to spend more money if it didn't work. However seeing you get away with a 100x makes me reconsider the 150x. It's funny how some people say you need a huge fan to keep a 400w cool whereas others use a rather small setup and are fine. Seems to be because of all the different variables and it's sometimes hard to get an idea of how exactly someone's grow is setup since you can't exactly see it in person.
I'm even more suprised your tent is in a closet as well haha, was plannin on just setting mine up in a empty room but if I can use the closet it'll be even better.

Anyways enough about my setup i'm curious as to how you water with your scrog screen, do you take it off when you water?
And what do you do about water runoff?

Keep up the good work man, your going to have some nice smoke soon!

With this current fan it seems to keep it about 5-6 degrees above ambient temp, whereas a more powerful fan might keep it at 3-4 degrees above ambient. Either way the problem is if your actual room gets to hot, not the tent itself. Maybe the guys recommending the fans are running their tents in very warm area's and cant go much above ambient?

I do not remove the screen when I water, in fact the plants have not moved since the big pots went in the tent. At first I was hand watering with a cup when they were small and not drinking much.

Now I mix up 3-4 gallons of water, in a 5 gallon bucket. I then elevate it above the plants and then just use some air hoses and gravity to drain the bucket into the pots. At first I have to wet the top of the pots lightly and wait a little bit before letting the water flow fastm otherwise it will just shoot out the holes along the top instead of saturating the soil. It usually takes about 15 minutes for the bucket to drain and all of the pots have some water that has leaked out of the bottom into their trays. They usually suck up the rest of the water over the next few hours.

I think your absolutley right about many people having to use a big fan from their ambient temps being high. A lot of people don't even list ambient temp in the first place so when there's people like me trying to upgrade to a 400 and hearing two different things it makes it a little confusing. However now i'm confident the s&p 150 will do the job no prolbem.
As far as watering with the scrog screen, man I don't see how using tray's didn't pop in my head, i'm sitting here trying to come up with some kind of liner and drain or somthing.. just making things complicated lol. You may have already said and i need to read back through your thread sometime but is this your first scrog? I've always just done some Lst, but with so many people having good results with scrog i've gotta give it a go.

Yes this is my first time with scrog, i have always done LST in the past as well. I will definitely be doing it again :) I was able to keep a pretty even canopy despite the front plants stretching much. The back right plant had about half the stretch they did.
