thanxs guys well see how these root and go from there,now my next question is about your top off barrel,is it filled with full strength nutes as well? then what do you do just monitor the pph in the res and adjust if its tohigh or low,or do u just let it ride out for the 6 days and then flush on the seventh....peace...

my top up barrel is just water connected to a float valve. when ppm gets too high water is added to bring it down. when ph gets too high or low the respective ph buffer is added,

when the system is running as it should, the ppm never goes down. the plants use more water then salts, so ppm is always on the up,

when the system is running as it should....you are meaning when the plants are being fed the correct amount to make them happy by keeping the res full at all times everything is the same,so if the top up barrel is straight water and the ppm go up ypur feeding to strong and if they go down u can feed more..?

im always referring to everything as uoc (under optimal conditions).
always let the plants feed. i never have the flow valve always open, i open it when ppm goes down,

yes for sure, but all my rezes are covered with 3/8 coroplast and then topped with panda poly. so in this case evaporation is very very minimal ),

okay its been way to quiet hear the last few days,lets talk about palm treeing the med man way,so having 4 main branches at 14 days of flower where and why do u decide the height for the screen and how do you go about training the palm tree style....

hey swap. usually clones take 14 days to transplant into 3 inch cubes. then they can easily handle 14 more days in the 4 inch. so all they need is 10-14 days in the tables before they flip uoc.
i usually only leave 4 bud nodesper branch once the palm treeing is done. in 1-2 weeks you wont be able to notice. when scrogging, height doesnt matter because theyt will all be the same hieght once the screen is added. all these questions are subject to you and your strain and space,

okay so after being topped and flowered for 14 days on average,you pick 4 mainleads place the screen and bend theleads over ina palm treelooking fashion,each lead has 4 nodes on it ,as there bent over at 14 days of flower the stretch is done and they can be placed accordingly to the empty spaces ......?

heres some new pics. plants are thick, green, and grtowing. the title reflects the fact i dreid out the roots after 7 days, and they didnt do much for a week or so.
the ppm are a steady 1250 and maintaining a 5.6 ph. roots are matting and shoots of roots and branches are growing daily. the bubble hazes, half the size when planted are now bigger then every other sibling.
