Yeah, this Canna is clean, but I dont like it and the company is retarded! Flora Nova seems to be great. Green Lion grows some straight dank and that is what he is using. After this I am switching to the lucas formula modified for coco.

they look good....i get it now u seperated all those plants from the 1 tray into 2....give them some room 2 bush out from that top job....niiice

also...i would like 2 recommend dutch master gold AB 2 you....it is my favorite that ive ever used so far....its pretty concentrated..... 5ml of AB is standard for me...and 7.5ml AB is max i would ever use...so it lasts....good ratios too

I've heard that the Dutch Master Gold makes for great tasting product. It's still on my list to experiment with when the time is right. I think the concentrations are about the same as H & G though as I haven't gone over 7.5 mL AB with their line either.

I'd like to try Dyna-Gro for veg and DMG for bloom as an experiment.

are u planning on using floranova bloom as your lucas mix? or flora series?

have u used Nova before?? just wondering, because if you havent i would strongly recommend you rethink it....

i had a bottle, everything was going great.....BUTTT....once you get to about half way or less of the bottle left, the fucking precipatates really FUCK the ratios up of your mix. you can hear the "infamous FNB crystals" when you vigorously shake the bottle for 5 min, which NEVER dissolves them. the crystals are there to stay, unless maybe you heat to dissolve and water it down?? so if youve used FNB before im sure your firmiliar with it...however if you havent i beg you not to use it.

@buddin: No I havent used it, but my buddy rocks the floranova bloom and he kills it with it! Maybe you might have to dissolve them in a mason jar of hot water first kind of like with the maxi bloom. Thanks for the heads up! My buddy cuts the floranova out about 3-4 weeks before harvest and replaces it with earth juice catalyst and molasses(i think). I believe there is a couple other things as well, but he product is always super delicious and the bag appeal is all there. I honestly hate nutrients and it is all about finding how to properly use nutrients. They all work, but its all about figuring out how they work best. I know canna is awesome, but I am not doing something right with it. My temps are kind of getting in the low 80's though so I know that has something to do with whats happening. I think the way I am mixing isn't working either, because it always seems like the 2nd feeding after I mix up a batch is most effective.

I start with the Coco A and mix it in a 5 gallon bucket, then mix in the B. After that I put them with the rest of the water in the reservoir and then mix in the Flora Nectar and then the Cal Mag. After all of that I my pH usually sits at about 6.7 so I down it a little. I heard some people like to add the cal mag the next day after you mix everything up. I also have an air pump and stone running 24/7. Today I checked on them and all of them were noticeably darker and sitting at about 10" - 1' tall. I would say it is time to flip them in about 3 days once they are fully established.

3 days huh...whoop whoooop!!!

but please talk 2 your buddy about the FNB infamous crystals and see what he has 2 say about them, for your sake, and for my intrest.

seems 2 me like your mixing everything right???...the airstone could potentially skew the pH though!....what kind of problems are u encountering with the canna nutes???

@buddin: Yeah, the air stone causes my pH to go from 6.0 back up to 6.8 and then I have to re pH it. Pretty much the nutes don't seem strong enough. I really gotta hit em hard for them to look healthy. It is f-ing weird! With GH you don't need but 400ppm-600ppm in veg. These things are taking 1000+ of Canna.

hmmmm i see what you sayin....therefore you havto blow threw more of them than GH persay....that sucks man...i heard there good quality....just hit em strong and kill of your bottles i guess.....

be back in 3 days! lol

The plants kicked in to gear today! They are booming! Since yesterday I have almost 2 inches of growth on each plant and now they are nice and dark.

I talked to the SNS people and they said their product is a plant additive. They have the proper gibberlic acids in them for root growth and resin production. I mixed a little up with the my normal mixture and it didnt do a damn thing to my PPMs or my pH. Kind of weird. I will check back tomorrow on whether or not it did anything.

That SNS product is the shit for today! Noticeably bigger plants with bigger fan leaves and larger main stalks. Its kind of amazing. I talked to the people at the company and they say you can only use it for 3-4 weeks max. They were telling me it causes a more rapid uptake of nutrients and that it will shave some time off flowering. We will see whats up with a couple waterings of it. Super fast acting shit though!

Installed my screen yesterday and switched to flowering today. Here are some pics

Plants are sitting at 12-14" in height. I am hoping they end at under 2 and a half feet.

Thanks! At week 2 I am going to start deleafing the bottoms and at week for I will slowly pull some leafs closer to the top. I am going to try to push the yields for horizontal with no co2 and shitty reflectors. The only time I achieved 1gpw is in the shittiest setup I ever put together. Oh, and I might be getting blumats soon. The hydro store in my town is very intrigued so i am bring pictures of them working so that they will order them.

Ok, I did some de leafing underneath the screen on one tray today. Tomorrow I will do the other tray. Plants are looking great!

I am going to build a drip system this week. I wanted to use blue mats, but ordering them is going to be a bitch and I am a DIY kind of guy. So this means a drip system. Anybody with any experience in building a quality drip system that has even pressure feel free to chime in.

I bought all the parts for the drip system. I will be installing it in a couple hours :) no more hand watering if all goes well!

Thanks, when I looks at the pictures from three days ago compared to what they look like now, I am amazed. The canopy is huge with plenty of bud sites everywhere! I am loving coco!

BUILT THE DRIP SYSTEM!!! I am so excited. I can leave for 2-3 days at a time now and just have a family member email me photos and everything should be cool. Got all 22 plants being fed on drippers. I will have pictures up tomorrow. I am so stoked to not have to hand water anymore. Also I should get some bigger buds with the more consistent watering.
