BHO edibles

Hello everybody. I just wanted to let people know about the best possible way to make edibles.

First, make some bho. (butane extraction oil) Next, heat up your oil or butter. Put as much bho as you want, you can even way over due it because the bho just melts away in the oil/butter. This makes the best tasting, most potent oil/butter available. I made pot brownies that would destroy even people with the highest of tolerances, and the brownies tasted like normal, no pot brownies.

Give it a try people, let me know what you think.

Oh I can dig it. Im still feeling last nite's bho cornbread I made to go with some ox tails, candied yams, blackeyed peas, and collard greens.....

honestly I try to make edibles that are of medicinal purpose, not that of annihilation. Hence, young grasshopper, they are called MEDibles :)

For the medicinal trip, you wouldn't really use BHO because although there's a slim chance that there is very little to no butane remaining in the product, butane is a carcinogen, and you wouldn't want a potential carcinogen in something that is supposed to help, say, a cancer patient!

Here, in my wonderful medical state, that's how it rolls - all medical and stuff. I'm sure your version is somebody's medicine though! have fun with that :)

Down here we have something called a hubby bar. Basically a small chocolate bar with 2g of hash oil. Super clean taste, kicked in within 1 hour, lasted quite a while. price was 15$

Not sure what you are talking about. I am in a med state and every club I go to has hash oil. So, what are you talking about? Also, a normal dose of pot food bounces off me like super bouncy balls. I need something stronger. Also, you don't have to make super strong edibles, just cut the oil. My main point is how I was amazed that there was no taste. Thanks for trying to tell me about the medical scene however, being that I am a mobile care provider. It is my livelihood.

Edit: another thing, how do you smoke your pot? With a butane lighter? I bet I get less butane from my oil with a vapor swing than you do with your bic lighter.

Pretty sure any residual butane would evaporate in the oven after baking at 320F for 45-55min. Not positive but I think that's why they use it in cooking sprays and food packaging. And besides aren't chemo drugs and radiation known to carcinogens? Also I think big pharma is moving toward extract testing and production, DEA just reclassified THC/CBD/CBN extracts for em.

gently heating the freshly extracted oil or using reclaim'd oil would further increase the potency by fully decarboxylating the THC

butane is a carcinogen, and you wouldn't want a potential carcinogen in something that is supposed to help, say, a cancer patient!

butane cannot exist in an edible... even in the sloppiest of extractions the residual butane is only released when heated, but in edibles the temperature of the oven far exceeds the boiling point (it's around room temp) for any butane to remain. even if you ate a spoonful of unpurged oil... you'd burp the butane out

IIRC you don't like BHO because its difficulty in marketability to "health conscious" crowd(maybe perhaps leaning towards hippie paranoia ). I would then advise to seek extractions using food-grade alcohol because there is something else about concentrate-based edibles which make it significantly more efficient and effective medication for cancer patients.

sorry but this is wrong butane is not a carcinogen, infact it is a standard in labs that do herbal extractions. propane is even used.

they both are harmless unless you light them on fire or use them as a scuba tank... both just carbon and hydrogen, combusts into water, carbon dioxide.

butane is the best economically available non polar solvent for quick extractions as it evaporates faster than say hexane.
