We couldn't open a cola bottle, so I got an idea!

We had just gotten home from a little snack shopping and had pulled up a couple of chairs next to the kitchen counter. My mouth had been dry for a while and I knew I had a 2L. bottle of cola in the fridge. Neither of us could open it :/ That was when the great idea popped into my head, we'll drill two holes in it and stick some straws into it. The result was an abomination.

Next time; pour some hot water on the cap and twist. Tap water heat should do. Anyways, if you don't have the strength to open a bottle, coca cola might not the 1st thing in order, i'd recommend a fruit salad, cottage cheese, push ups and stuff like that.

if its hand strength thats the problem, forget the pliers. next time grab a belt and use that as a wrench. they use the same concept for tightening some plumbing fixtures.

Close door until it grips the cap, twist bottle and enjoy.

I can't believe I found a pic of it but I bought one of these for my mom a long time ago, worked like a charm not only getting a tough cap off but also in tightening down the cap prolonging the life of the soda.......

works on all 2 liter bottle type caps.
