I can't believe I just read this. I was recently told about this strain and when I tried it I wasn't impressed. I just thought it was just some made up name...

im not touchin this ?... read the links but i will say piff is a gen word for uptown haze ... i use piff when referrin to shitty samples and punay when referrin to the fire there is a huge difference in quality between blocks and spots u should have no prob findin a sealed 40 of punay but if ya shit came in a small dime bag its the piff.... as far as cuts and what exactly it is i know but that is the very touchy subject... its more then 1 particular strain though.

stoney you are correct about it being more than one strain. PIFF is a stupid word IMO. I prefer Mango Pinya, Puday, and Chuuuch. (LMAO) They are all words describing this "type" of herb. Hazy, but most importantly has the tell tale odor. There are many grades.... The new hybrids are watered down versions of true 1998 Puday (piff) type of shit from 143 between Broadway and Amsterdam.

I would sometimes get scared and panic when I smoked it.

^^^ he sumed it up right there ..but it was because of the new kush diesel craze that killed the piff flow ..piff is just a word ..it really describes the smell ..its the smell of real haze

my boy just went up to autobon today im puffin on a 40 with a .5of bubble on top in a dutch atm and lovin it.. im a white owl smoker but the 40 wont fit in a whiteowl.. still 2.1 and sealed..

you boys got me reminicing of my uptown days!! makes me wanna take the train into the city and see my bredren. havent been to the city in a few years and miss it to much. the uptown haze is the reason we love the hazes in my circle. are people used to think we were crazy going to the city and paying 5-6 hundred for an o, but it was always worth it and the doubters never questioned the smoke or prices again.

Guess I don't know what I'm talking about Cause I have never seen anything laced in the 35 years I been living in ny or the 14 years I been smoking piff. (unless I laced it myself mhwhahahaha)

Don't want to start an argument but I been lucky enough to smoke piff for most of my smoking career, when i was in high school it was referred to ask the "one hit wonder" along with haze/church/piff/etc. I think depending on who you know that the stuff was "laced" but I do believe I smoked batches in the past that was "passa- water" washed. This was never more prevalent about 7-10 year ago in my area when dudes were selling $20 sacks of "poppy" which just was some haze that knocked you on your ass. If you smoked the shit while you were drunk the spins and vomit were soon to follow. That being said I don't believe that the growers in south florida don't do this anymore because I haven't come across "poppy" in years and I am in an area where people will only smoke haze, they think everything else is crap.

For those who aren't familiar with "passa-water" wash this is the byproduct of the herion trade. It was the left over water used to "cook" the morphine/herion from the raw opium. It contained all the constituents of opium expect for most of the morphine or heroin.

trust me when I say that it was "laced" but in way where people desired this type of weed, although it was always a nice batch when the people actually did it right, sometimes it was more than people bargained for...
