It's time for the old Spring Outdoor. Getting a better start on it this year.

The First bed has 8 plants consisting of Afghan x ECSD, The Purps, Sweet Tooth#3, LaviStar (Somas Lavender x SensiStar), and The Other (Little guy in front, might not make it.)

nice man, so i'm guessing your intention is to have them flower right now, a late spring harvest? you said last year you put them out 6 weeks later, so did they start reveging and not really finish in the spring? hope it goes well and kicks ass man =)

Yeah are you doing a spring harvest run or what? Nice plants though.

Are you in the bay area?

Exactly. Last year it rained and rained up until about the
10th of march. Also, last year I amended their holes with some
general 16-16-16 which was a big mistake. This year I put nothing
in the holes other than some supersoil. And I've started feeding
them liquid bloom nutes.

Last year, all but one plant flowered (Daze) and started re-vegging
before they finished up. Hopefully the weather will cooperate this year.
Haven't had to use the hoop houses yet!

Yes and Yes. The plants have been vegging a good long time.
The only potential prob is being too close to the ocean. (Fog)
And cold and rain, of course...

Best of luck Kcar, spring crops are always tricky but you're starting early enough this year.
Fast flowering strains are your friends.
Lovely garden

well right on, man i wish you great success! i have a few doing the same thing, it's my first time outside so it's all new to me, i am kind of worried about things not finishing in time but i feel like right now is early enough as long as we're not trying to grow some 20 week haze/thai outside haha (seriously, i wonder if a 20 weeker popped outside right now would be okay though? hmmmm...)

Looks like your missing a lot of that mourning sun. You ever think of putting them in 20 gallon smartpots so you could move them over to where the sun shines all day? Just an observation.

best of luck brother! My spring crop will be planted in smart pots in a cuople weeks; dna's chocolope, and ssh from the late 90's being my main stars.

so stoked on the lavistar, that's going to be your dankest, fire genetics.

thinking about tossing some real tahoe out as well.

Heard some great things about the Chocolope from a buddy today!
Also, anything from Shanti is awesome in my book.

Nice ecsd. i grew that two years ago, it really benefited from second to fourth week pruning. Actually i stripped everything on the majority of the crop from the first actual week of flowering except two. The last two i stripped during the 2nd to 4th week better, and those plants responded more to my liking but only minimally.

Yours look to be at the perfect pruning time. I had three to four foot long, solid, nice and dense colas. They were pretty insane, packed on A LOT of weight during the 8th-9th week, and again at week 11, flushed for one and a half weeks. Sent a couple photos for reference.

Picture 2 in post 14, in the foreground, is that the lavistar or swtth? Man, so stoked to see your LS nearing the end. How long are you going to push the LS?

Rock on brother, rock on.
