May have been mentioned...Due Date with Robert Downey Jr. It's basically a remake of sorts of Planes, Trains and Automobiles...IMO. DD cracked me up at times but PT&A is classic comedy. RIP John Candy...Uncle Buck!

The Trotsky: a cute little canadian film.
Added to my queue.

Its called "God Grew Tired of Us".
That's one of those movies I started watching and didn't finish. Just one of those nights I guess and will revisit it...thx for the reminder. At least I've watched half of it already. So many movies so little time...lol!

Got an invite from a friend to check out a Shakespeare play this Friday night...Measure for Measure...woot woot! I'm just a culture vulture that lives in the middle of nowhere :D

I started watching a new tv show and its pretty funny. (though I only caught the 1 episode so far). Its also on netflix streaming. I was running low on media so I decided to see what was popular on the other side of the pond.

I found this one its called "Saxondale". Its about a guy who was roadie guitar tech for the big bands in the 70s. But now is a loser pest control guy with anger management issues. He's never grown up, and though he's fifty years old he's never realized that the rebellion is over, and he is an old man with nothing to rebel against.

Its a bit like the british version of "east bound and down" except trade major league baseball for guitar tech, and add 30 years with no accomplishments.

Thx for that and will at least check out Disc 1. As for the other side of the pond I tried out Doc Martin for awhile and didn't quite develop well enough for my taste. Had some potential but gave up on it somewhere in like season 3 as it deteriorated and got a bit stupid. Definitely different though.

As for Brit stuff Skins is pretty cool. Not really but sort of like kiddie soap opera. Took me the first half of season 1 to get into it a bit and when it came time for them to 'graduate' was a bit bummed and then in season 3 had to get used to the next 'class' of kids and took me a few episodes. I just wanna smash Cook in the face and Effy needs to jump off a cliff or something...LOL! I like the cast from the first 2 seasons better but still on the hook for season 4.

I tried Lucifer, from the Brits, but just didn't like it even though many rate it highly and gave up on it after the first disc.

Looks like Mesrine part 2 up next then Mad Men season 4 starts showing up...oh yeah :)

I've added the Kenneth Branagh version.

Soooo...for you is it Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, Stravinsky, Haydn, Liszt, Schubert or? For me there's only one and all others are wannabe's and his name is a movie ;). The answer is?

:D

Tonight it's far from sophisticated...disc 1 season 1 of 'Justified'.

Justified - the series. Timothy Olyphant basically plays the same character as he did in Deadwood but now a modern US Marshall. Couldn't get into it but did like Deadwood.
