the amount varies according to the illness being suffered and the effects of the strain. I would need to smoke about an 1/8th a day of an earthy sativa, but a gram at most of a good indica. That's because sativa does nothing for my illness. Indica is my medicine.

Clearly many people differ in their intake. But someone told me "most people only need a G a day of top shelf" and that my complaint that this stuff is overpriced is ludicrous because it doesn't cost "that much"

I probably use a G of hash oil a day, and thats how many grams of concentrated bud?

I don't go around weighing my smoke every time I use, but I know how much I buy and how quickly I need to buy more if I need to buy it.

I also know how much, on average, my harvest regularly produce.

It is really stressful to run out of my own kind bud and have to "purchase" shit, for me at least. I hate buying "sin tax" prices for something that is so beneficial to the community.

Anyway, grow on.

Well, I work 7 days a week, my "career" during the week and a part time weekend job to cover everything and run my grow and I still manage to smoke close to an eighth a day. I just carry a one hitter with me and take one or two hits every once in a while and then I smoke a bit more out of my bong when I get home before bed. I think that smoking a gram a isn't really a lot, I know a lot of people who smoke blunts and joints who smoke a gram before they get of out of bed in the morning and another before they brush their teeth.

But last time I checked I didn't read any stories from my city, county, state where someone lost a significant amount of property for having a small medical garden.

The day you can grow over 100 plants without worrying about losing your hard earned cash, purchased property, and means of production... plus spending time in pound me in the ass prison...

the price HAS to drop.

Why?

Because people could "afford" to grow their own with out such consequences... And if they didn't "know how" or didn't have a "green thumb" themselves, someone who did have (tomato growing) skills would happily share with them some great stuff for a low rate.

I knew a girl who lived by the beach. Her landlord grew the BOMBEST outdoor plants.

The landlord would just give her a plant every season to have. Free.

Unless you grow your own to smoke your own and weight is meaningless to you . Everyone else dealing with transactions by weight.When you go to the dispensary do you say: "gimme that bud!"? Or do you say I'll take 1 gram of that?

maybe we can help get your yields up.
medical gardens should provide plenty of medicine for one user.

agreed, cannabis has a value, by weight, whether we think of it or not. the funny part is that dispensaries mix grams and "1/8"s and ounces all together in the same sentence. If aliens are watching, they are laughing.
