@ ras mason

I wonder if you can help, ive seen it said in posts elsewhere that the new strain AllKush is Sheherazade renamed.

Do you know if this is true or not ??

BTW i harvested nine Acid`s two weeks ago (50 days veg, 91 days 12/12), whilst its still to early to get any accurate ideas, the yield is by far the best ive had so far, the first test smoke was very positive :)

:smokeit:

Well, all i can say, is that the pic is frm me on the All kush and that Shera was a Kush dominant plant....Like Luc said, Shera is Dead! lOng live AllKush!!!!
i would like to have feedback on folks trying all kush...
peace

Not to complicate your decisions any further, but if you haven't tried Nebula yet. Holy shit, it is one of the best tasting and strongest strains, with no ceiling. Really brings you up into the galexy =P

Nebula was my third grow, as you say its both very nice tasting and strong, highly recomended.

Actually the only "dissappoint" i had was with Sensi Star, for sure its strong as fuck, but imo quiet bland in flavor compared to the other strains ive grown. It need six months in the jars before any flavor came thru, at nine months its very nice indeed :)

The best tasting so far imo is Whiteberry, in fact i would go so far as to say its the best tasting weed ive ever smoked, anywhwere, ever, and ive got 38 years smoking experiance lol

Nonsense.
How many phenotypes did you taste?
Ginger Lemon cough drop is what your looking for.

My next paradise purchase looks like it will be White Berry and Nebula. I've only smoked nebula - never grown it.

I remember the taste being out of this world, and the high was soaringly strong.

I grew nine plants and had two phenos. The shorter one had a subtle lemon taste, the taller pheno a very bland floral taste, and which without doubt were the least smelly plants ive grown, on a scale of 1 to 10, i would rate it 1. No signs of any ginger, or cough drops at all. As ive mentioned before, cant complain about them strength wise, only the dissapoining taste.

I guess i was just unlucky in the pheno lottery, cant really complain as i defentaly got lucky with the Whiteberry diesel pheno :yay:

I dont think you will be disappointed with either Whiteberry or Nebula, i certainly intend growing them again, in fact ive allready got the beans in the fridge :whistling:

Oh shit. I assume you bred or got seeds from someone who crossed Whiteberry to Sour Diesel. Or did you get a Diesel pheno in them somehow? Ras said that Ice Cream and Whiteberry are basically identical in genetics. Just came from different moms/phenos of those genetics.

But White Berry Diesel Pheno sounds incredible. I can't wait until ice cream is crossed the the chemdog lineage. Like Sour Diesel, OG Kush, Chem 91, Chem D etc..

The Whiteberry diesiel pheno came from a ten pack of Whiteberry beans, i know others that have also had this pheno from a pack of beans, but dont know how common it is.

Ive allways thought that WB is a Hashplant/blueberry cross, i found a test grow on the net a couple of years ago for a PS strain under the name Hashberry, apparently PS couldnt register that name as it was allready being used by others, so decided to market it as Whiteberry instead. Ive just looked for the link, but the test grow seems to have been deleted :dunno:

Perhaps Ras Mason can confirm or deny this.

Regarding IceCream, Ras updated the information from Luc here, its bubblegum x widow

Ive got some IceCream beans in the fridge, but not sure when i will be popping them, i really want to try Jacky White or one of the Hazes next, but it will be intresting to compare them to WB when i do.

Hey Ras Mason ? for you ,you stated earlier you would not use feminized seeds for a breeding project.I'm curios why.As far as I know there is no way to determine if a female plant was feminized by stress or chemically induced ,There is no real proof that i know of that states femmed seeds yeild less or are less vigorous than reg seeds .It seems that one is still up for debate.Ive asked a couple smaal time breeders if using a femmed seed to use as a breeder if there would be any adverse effects .The answer keeps coming up no.I'm wondering what your theory is .
Peace JM

Sounds great. Definitely keep us posted.

I'm also curious where the Diesel pheno is coming from in the WB: Hashplant x Blueberry?

Are you quite familiar with the Chemdog lineage - smell and taste? Like Original Sour Diesel, OG Kush, or Chem 91. Chem D is similiar but a little different.

Just curious if the smell and taste of your WB Desiel pheno seems to have actual Chemdog or Sour Diesel in it - or just a smell that is similar?

I havnt grown any of the diesel strains you mention, smoked a few, alledgly, but who knows what those really were!!

What can i say about the WB diesel pheno, it stinks in veg and is extremly pungent during 12/12, smells just as thou someone has poured a gallon of diesel fuel into the tent. The plant itself was a bit strange, in that it grew two very large side shots opposite each other, but hardly any growth at all to the right angle of those two side shoots, it looked more like the silhouette of trident than a plant. The taste itself is sublime, never tasted anything quiet like it before, fruity but fuellie (is that a word) at the same time.

I am not a breeder, so i am not the best person to answer your question.
I was stating my own gut feeling.
However, i do know that serious feminized seed vendors use a chemical sex inversion method on one of the lines they use to make the cross.
for example.: pre 98 bubba kush female x reversed sr 71 Purple Kush. They will call that either pre 98 feminized, or invent anew kush name tom please the masses.

I'm not a professional breeder either, however I have heard that as long as the femenization process is done correctly and the genetics used are stable and not prone to herm, than the femenized genetics won't have any issues. So as far as using one for a breeding project, it should be fine assuming it was done correctly and the genetics used were stable themselves.

As far as the stability of phenotype expression, I'm not certain if that changes during the breeding of Femenized genetics vs non Fem genetics? I'm sure its covered in a forum somewhere, and I remember a video by the owners of DNA genetics explaining the stability of Fem breeding.

Bi0hazard
